5:30 To cure dampness on the inside wall, try mixing wood glue with fiber glass, apply on the wall, once dry you can paint over it with colour of your choice. For permanent fix try to find out where the water is getting from, then seal using melted tar. Best of luck guys ❤

Thank you! The desk is super comfy actually, really happy with it and the chair. I was getting a lot of back pain from the other chair I had and now I can move more. Mums room is super cozy, it’s also really warm which is quite reassuring as she gets easily cold! 🥰🥰

We had the same problem when restoring a medieval house in Cahors, France.One of the walls had a bad case of salt efflorescence as it had been covered previously in cement so not enabling the stone to breath. We ended up taking off the cement to expose the natural stone and then a lime mix to fill the joints. Not only did it solve the problem but looked fantastic too!!

I like that your very down to earth type of person. I like that you like many different types of work. My favorite thing is building dollhouses and miniatures. Yes, we call it a bathroom even if there is no bath. It's also called "the loo", ladies room, toilet, dunny, out house, lavatory, boys room, the bog, etc. The reno's are looking great.

In Canada, it’s a half bath, or a powder room (I believe it’s from the days of Jolly Olde England, as a room you used for touching up your wig powder).

Usually old houses allow wicking up into the walls. You will have to tackle the problem from the outside. Research concrete sealer. There are products which will not allow moisture through. Good luck. Cheers from Canada.

We call the bathroom without a bath, a "half bath," "powder room" or "restroom." But if you call it "the bathroom" everyone knows what your talking about and no one corrects you. Some sophisticated people call it "the powder."

If the room has a shower we still call it a bathroom but if the room only had a toilet and sink we call it a powder room or water closet.

Gracias! Usamos un líquido salitre. Hemos usado dos ya pero creo que aún no funciona. Febe ser cuestión de poner una capa más waterproof en la pared externa o añadir este producto varías veces. Eso que sale en la pared se llama Eflorescencia

united states: yes, its a bathroom no matter what. depending on the region it can be called a washroom. like everything else soft drinks are pop, soda, cold drink etc. you name it there is always another word for the same thing. you have to use context to decipher what the word means. sometimes immigrants/foreigners get stumped because there is also slang. if the walls dont behave you can always put up beadboard.

A bathroom without a bath or shower is a half bath. But that is used mostly in describing real estate or rentals. Everyday use is just bathroom. Isn't English a strange language?!!!

TRY MIX WOOD GLUE AND CIMENT YOU CAN SEE AT RU-vid. BUT LET THE WALL GET VERY DRY FIRST BEFORE DO THAT. AND THEN YOU CAN PUT A WALL OF WOOD OR SMALL SQYARES OF ROCK 🪨 MAKIMG A PUZZEL. MY BEST WISHES
