Free Mow Friday time again and we have this thick, wet and overgrown yard in Sydney. The puppy loved having a yard to play in once I finished cleaning up this back yard.

Hi! My name is Tim The Lawnmower Man and I love to clean up overgrown yards and make fun videos doing it. I'm able to do them for free as these videos have ads on them and the revenue from that enables me to cover my cost.
I'm always looking for the worst yards around. Sometimes I drive around looking for them, sometimes viewers send me suggestions.

Should I keep going with my business as a 12 year old cutting grass? Some guy gave me $30 to do his lawn, I went back home cause my dad sent me on my push bike to ask people, once we got back, I started cutting a Karen’s lawn and she came home and she said “YOUR NOT ALLOWED ON MY PROPERTY NO ONE GAVE U PERMISSION TO CUT MY GRASS” then my dad said sorry and finished the strip that we were doing and cut the guys grass that gave me the 30, I’m just thinking if I should continue with my business as a 12 year old cutting grass because she put my confidence down a lot so I might just quit, just asking if I should🙁

You do the most meticulous work!!!! Removing the clippings sets your work above so many on RU-vid here in America!!!! They slash and mow and “mulch”…. Throw the curb clean up dirt and chemicals from last winter’s de-icers spread on the roads as well as the accompanying paving dust and other ugly stuff that has no redeeming value or benefit for the struggling lawn!!! Have a suggestion: if there are rocks and bricks and cement block and old lumber left from when the place was constructed years ago, ask the people if they’d like it all carted off. These are terrible eyesores and require trimming around and a danger to mowers when overgrown conditions re-occur in the future! Poor and disabled people don’t have the money for hiring removal of the above as well as large items like appliances and furniture and mattresses. If you could arrange with city hall or the county government for garbage services to pick them up if you could cart them to the curb, it would go miles to real clean up. Thanks for what you do! You are putting many of your peers to shame🏆🏆🏆

Oh, the pup pup will be able too do Zoomies around that yard now. Wonderful job. It's amazing how much larger the yard looks after it's been mowed! The whole family can enjoy the yard & patio again. Nice to find the walk ways. Take care!

Good grief, you found a buried patio, two buried walkways, a hidden hole in the ground, and a buried parking spot..... I'm just surprised that you didn't locate dinosaur remains or maybe the wreckage of a missing airplane, under all that overgrowth. Job wet done though. Now the pup will be able to run and play in a normal looking yard, instead of getting lost in that miniature rain-forest.

Great vid Tim, the yard looks brilliant, I love your little scraping tool takes the grass/weeds off the surface and cleans out the cracks where the roots are, puppy will love its new play area, onya mate, cheers!!🥰💕👍👍💪🐕that was a beautiful old Casuarina tree up the back, must have been planted many years ago.

Ref the scraping tool, I've used an ice chopper to scrape weeds up in some cases, either sliding through the expansion joints/gaps or 90 degrees across the face of them if the weeds are big enough.

Yes! Get some footage of the happy baby pup running around investigating everything. That made such a difference. Love the detailing, especially around the tree. That's huge when you trim off those 'sprouts' as I call them. It looks so clean. Great job.

More likely just a few weeks. You'd be amazed at how fast and tall grass can grow in a short amount of time. I have that problem with my backyard, if I let it go longer than three weeks between cuts the grass gets to just below knee height, I'd guess maybe two more weeks after that it'd be as tall as this yard.

Great work as usual, Tim. I like that scraper that you use on the concrete joints, but I have wondered if it might be helpful to have a concave spike sticking up on the top side with the cupped side towards the handle. So, you flip it over and use the spike to clean out the more difficult weeds. Kind of like a single prong garden rake.
