This puzzle made my head hurt 

You actually had 7 options at the end: cores, dores, fores, gores, mores, sores and yores. I'd have probably tried "fudgy" or "comfy" to get rid of 4 options.

MORES is pronounced like "mor-ays" and it means the values that a group of people have.

I had so much trouble with this one! I also got it on my last guess luckily. Had to guess between mores and fores at the end but got it thankfully.

This was a toughie; it took me all 7 tries too. One thing that helped me was the often quoted observation that common -S inflections (plural of a noun, or a third person singular present tense of a verb) are not generally found as Wordle answers. That solved the BORES / CORES / DORES / FORES / GORES / KORES / LORES / MORES / PORES / RORES / SORES / TORES / YORES issue. Excluding obscure words, the only word that has a distinct definition by itself (not merely as an inflection of another word) is MORES.

This one was easy for me because my starter words are CRANE and MOIST.

rebut came easier to me since it’s come up in some of the other wordle variants i play so as soon as i realized e and r weren’t at the end i was like ahhhh right the re- prefix…the dang right side, i went to quickly. had the -ores with two guesses left like you and i thought the only first letters i had left to check where w, y, and l, so i did whiny and when i didn’t see w or y i was like ah it has to be lores! too had i forgot that not even 30 seconds ago i had considered mores as an option…🤦🏻‍♀️ i feel like one of the trickiest parts of games like this is when u have one letter left to guess and so many options - it’s so tempting to just keep trying but you have to be logical about it.

instead of paste you should've done brute because it couldve been robes or bores Also 5:55 comfy wouldve guessed every single letter except one so you wouldve known

My dad's 3 starter words are "reach,sound,and then fight".

You should try starting with IRATE and SOUND, that’s what I start with and it usually works pretty well.

When words stop sounding like words it’s called semantic satiation

It seems that plurals and third-person singular verbs are not in the answer list, so cores and bores are not possible. Hope it will help!

I always start with Adieu the vowels are the obvious reason but most of the time it garuntees a letter or two and you can figure out plenty of options after jsut 1 guess. Of course sometimes you get nothing and that sucks.

If you do GAMEY you’re stuck with C or F in worst case scenario. You should’ve done COMFY to ensure you get it

For me it was actually very easy since i think of more complex words

I solved yesterday’s (4/8) Squardle with seven guesses left! How’d you do?

Do Scott's dozen! Which is a quardle and then an octordel but when you finish the quardle you have to put all the guesses from the quardle into to octordle as your first guesses. I'll be nice you don't need to put in the solutions just the words you that aren't a word in the quardle. When you did the daily dozen before that is what I thought you were going to do and when you just did both normally I was so sad!

I was sue the second one was gonna be sores when it was about the only word you didn’t think of. I never would have come up with mores.
