@@BigBadMogzLol, but in reality some passionate chefs do tend to be speedy in the kitchen because they're experienced and know how to utilize the time efficiently. I am not a professional chef but I'm experienced with certain meal types in my home kitchen, I love cooking and I do it too subconsciously. I call it the chef zoomies lol. It's from excitement

I think a big reason why Gordon looks like he's always trying to prepare food as fast as possible is because he used to work for Marco white. Wouldn't be surprised if he can still feel Marco staring daggers at him
It’s just muscle memory. It’s like how speedrunners can do the most difficult tasks with relative ease purely because they’ve done that exact thing hundreds of times.
If you do something quick, it will be done faster.. How many meetings do you think Gordon does each and every day ? He spends 10 minutes making this video, then moves on with his life.

looked like he hit his pointer finger mid way through on the second pass and then very last one he smacked his hand again. he didnt cut himself though. But I agree he knows what he's doing things happen.@@bobbot6842

I love when the camera zooms in and you can see him cut himself slightly a few times (from the way he flinches) but continues to say his sentence like nothing happened
