Everything mentioned was spot on from my situation. She claimed the rebound was perfect and she was so happy, and then a month later she came back to me saying she was sorry. Told her Im currently working on myself so gave her a taste of her own medicine lol.

100% when someone throws you away, give them a taste of their own medicine back - not only is it good for your self-esteem and self-respect but it also shows them that when a big sign saying ACCESS DENIED is what they get from you, they are confronted with what losers they truly are

Spot on. My Wife filed for divorce but was monkey branching while I was in therapy and in the process of changing for the sake of our family. I gave her the breakup and move to my brother's while she has to maintain the house take care of our children and a new puppy that's destroying everything. Recently she broke down because of my absence and her new party lifestyle with her rebound isn't what she ultimately wants. Of course I still love her and I will support our children and whatever I can do while still maintaining boundaries and respecting her decision.

Rebound is never about 3-6 months. It's emotional. Same when people say you need 3,6 or whatever months to get over a breakup. No it's individual thing, but at the end you will never be the same after. Time doesn't heal anything. You just learn to live with it.

Sorry, i find rebounds the most disgusting thing ever. My fiancé left me after 7 years, she met a guy after 2-3 weeks. Told me she has no time to grieve our relationship, she wants to be happy and feeled loved again. Said she is only getting to know him, but still. Although she has still feelings for me as she stated. No respect for our 7 years relationship, no respect for her own feelings towards me, and no self respect.. That's something really wrong with it.

Doesnt matter if he competes or not...he is up inside your woman..she has him in her mouth...who cares if hes same level higher lower ..what does that matter at all..shes spreading out for him...thats all you need to know...why would any man want this female back after this?...rebound is a soft gentle way to describe whats actually happening...she self soothing her guilty mind by getting ran thru day and night..you think that rebound guy is there to hear her pains..no...hes in her pants..shes in his...never accept this back after..she wont be the same woman who left you..now she has his memories on top..she only comes back cause he had enough...she was a walking condom..here she comes back with i missed you honey..please...women will always go were it feels good at the moment ..were they feel valued..at the moment...next moment shes off again...

yes avoid the messiness altogether and move forward without them - put yourself first, and you'll find someone that also will put you first - when you don't respect yourself you'll continue to attract people that won't respect you

If they're in a rebound give yourself some tough love and let them go...thats what im doing...its horrible and soul destroying but it'll be wirth it when you look back and realise they were holding you back from true commitment and love.

Tbh if you break up with someone and they go and rebound don’t ever let them back into your life ! Yes it hurts trust me I know bc I’m going through the same but If a person don’t choose to fight for you or choose you then let them be ! Wish them the best and move on . I know easier said then done ! Allow it to hurt then heal then let it go ! There is someone out there who’s better and will always choose you no matter what !

Unless the relationship was long standing with many shared assets, children, etc etc - if there is a breakup - use all of this time, not waiting, but working on yourself and putting them permanently in the rearview mirror

What if the rebound was their ex? They were together for 5 years and he told me she was manipulative and unfair to him. He was with me for 2.5 ..we lived together..he didnt live with her. Now he is praising his love to her on his instagramandhe never posted annything about me. Was I the rebound!??

Different situations, but my ex girlfriend (6 month relationship) with whom I shared deep love dumped me. Within a month she was talking to her ex (4 month relationship) and they are now dating less than two months after our relationship ended. He had dumped her and blocked her two years ago, resurfaced after a year, then disappeared again. She claimed to no longer have any feelings for him. I definitely feel like a rebound, even though there was a gap in time.

Can it still be a rebound when it started like 4-5 months after the breakup? He blocked me many times and never took time to heal, I think. Now he said he met someone that he really appreciates and respects and that he doesn’t want to hurt her by talking to me… so he chose to give me up for her after 2 years of relationship. We were the love of each other’s life’s- but he said he doesn’t see me as that anymore. Is that to hurt me or is that a protection mechanism? He’s a fearful avoidant on top.

@@alwaysroomtolearn I don’t know if answers like that are really needed from a person who’s hurting. If you talk to yourself like that internally, that’s one thing. But don’t put it on others! I am over it now and no longer hurting, but saying things like that isn’t helpful for anyone going through a tough time.

But was telling me how much she loved me and wanted me to move to be with her. We were in a ldr for 4 years and I really treated her girl yeah we had our fights but I prayed and spoke wisdom and bless over her and was their for her. If the distance was made her left because she would always complain about it.
