I hate when they complain you don't gank as a 4 then they complain you're not level 6 since you were busy moving around the map. Yeah sometimes the gank goes really well and you get a lot of xp but sometimes it doesnt.
That's what you should be doing as pos 4 anyway. Secure the lane for your offlaner for a while then you start rotating and being a nuisance to other lanes. You can leave most offlane heroes alone after a few levels to give him all the EXP while you ruin the other lanes for the enemy. -pos 3 player that hates support leeching exp hiding in the trees.
I was playing offlane tide (5.5k) against faceless void + oracle and my monkey king did this. I ended up absolutely dumpstering them and solo killing void 1v2. Won in 21 minutes. Of course that's the exception, Tide and Axe are probably the two best heroes for this.
Yeah my 5 pos did this to me and made me 1v1 a viper as slark. They then came back level 1 at 5 minutes. Then bought carry items... lol. Very cool pro level thing but this seems like not wanting to play role in ranked tbh.

"sometimes they're slow because they're carrying regen" what ??? Man there are so many lines in those patches ! Is a salve slowing them harder than tangos as well ? Does clarities slow them ? mangos ? why are they slowed, btw ? Do they take a break and sip from your salve ? or eat a few branches off your tango ?

I was about to spectate TB supp game, but turns out there was a monkey king trying to snipe enemy cours. TB chased MK whole time, mk killed more than 10cours and his offlane mars snowballed the game.
Ive seen this in guardian before about a month or two ago (Im crusader now). I dont remember if we won or lost but the monkey king spent like 15 minutes doing nothing but going for our couriers.
I had this happen and got rekt extremely hard and after the game I just sat and stared at my screen in silence for a good 5 minutes before Uninstaller dota
I played against exactly this back when I was still in ancient. It's an extremely dangerous strategy. Sure the enemy mk got tons of courier kills early on, but he ended up being level 1 at 10 minutes in and we completely dismantled their offlaner so jokes on him lol.
It's not that hard, but it takes coordination. You can have the pos 5 (or 4) escort the mid courier early on if they have a stun. Once you're level 4 courier is flying and strat is useless. Tracking the MK is important, you can click his profile and camera will center on him if he's in vision. You have to grab your items when he's not around, or send the pos 5 to secure the courier. You could use your two quelling blades on pos 1 + 3 to cut trees at the start of the game by the base entrance You need to make sure you dumpster the enemy offlane too. Whether that's ganking with the pos 4 or sending your mid or whatever.
