how did this roblox update get worse...
so the roblox ugc update came out a few days ago and some of the most disgusting hats have been uploaded to the site. it's really sad to see where roblox is going in

i'm not at all informed about roblox moderation so take this with a grain of salt, but i think the issue with ugc moderation might be that they're 3d models. if you look at hats like the "penisaurus", you might notice that they look fine (or plausibly deniable) from the angle of the thumbnail. so if somebody were to make a horribly inappropriate hat, but then do something like cover up the thumbnail with a black square, they could get away with it.

Roblox's moderation probably started using AI to moderate everything. While exploiters and inapropriate UGC is running amok with no punishment, I get banned for saying "xd". It sounds stupid and like I'm just meme'ing around, but I'm dead serious, I got punished for something, that's not even mean in any way, shape or form.

The only problem with that is there will need to be another way for people to give UGC as game rewards. Its a really neat feature to earn a hat through a game which was something only roblox could do back then while game creators could only give badges.
