What water flow setting do you have yours on? Trying to decide if I should increase mine. Also obsessed with my Revo. The squirrel reference hit home. Most consistently clean my home has ever been.
This video was on low, but I've since upped to medium. I can't tell the difference. We came from Neato, who went out of business, and this product is so far superior to what I had I can hardly believe it's real lol I love this thing.
I had the roborock s7 but i wanted to try this one to see if it was better and it actually it alot better in terms of the total package. The spinning mops are much better than the vibratise thing on the s7 and its also better st avoiding stuff. Fact that it cleans and dries the mops after every use is just fantastic. The mop on my s7 started to smell very quickly and had to be vhanged very often. These ones dont smell at all. Very happy with this one🎉
I bought both. I have the s7 still in the package but I don't think I'll even open it. It will be returned. 250 dollars more but I think the self cleaning mops (and dry) is worth it
I think it's the best cleaning robot on the market for reasonable price at the time. I wonder how it can be better than more expensive Roomba as Roborock is generally Xaomi - 100% Chinese thing. Although Roomba is likely based on some Chinese parts, it's not a Chinese product in general. The rotating mops is very clever thing. Because it's likely more effective than vibrating mop. Rotating mops are superior when it comes to self-clean mechanism, because it uses centrifugal force like a regular waching machine. Recently Roborock has put Q Revo MaxV on the market which generates stronger vacuum and heat clean water (mixed with dedicated washing liquid) and that self-cleaning even more effective
We have sensitive timber floors and polished ceramic tiles - our roborock s8 scratched the tiles completely and we had to get rid of it. Is this one gentle on such floors?? Or do you recommend another type of robot vac for such floors? Can’t go back to regular vacuuming now 😢
I don't really get the fuss about obstacle avoidance. We always clean our floors before starting the vacuum. It's actually a good motivator. You guys just leave everything on the floor and get it started?
Thing is... gadgets break. Every robo vacuum I've had breaks at some point. These are much more complicated when something goes wrong. Also, the mops often don't lift high enough to get over carpet....more stress. When new, they're awesome.
My Q Revo lifts its pads high enough to clear my carpets. My S5 max has been used every day multiple times a day for 3 and a half years and never had any issues with it and we now use it in our upstairs level. These vacuums are a huge help.
My 2nd ecovac in 16 months just completely died, the entire time I owned them it was a constant battle seemed like every 2 months I'd face another problem.
Yes. That’s the best part about them because then they can advertise and tailor products to you online. They sell that data to Google and such. It’s even better when they sell your info to the government because then they know when someone is actively committing a crime to put a stop to it sooner and keep us safe
@@PatrykStm the company went out of business and my robot started saying the brush was stuck even tho it wasn't. It took a few weeks but they may end up servicing the robot after all they just no longer make or sell them.
@@BreakItYourselfI still miss neato, they were working on a obstacle avoidance and self emptying robot before they shutdown, but that turned into Kobold VR7. They even sent out prototypes before they shutdown.
Overpriced cleaning equipment. These robots cannot even suck up wet spills. For hard floors just get a crosswave, Dyad etc. for carpets, a Dyson will do. These are better overall cleaning machines.
You don't have kids and pets so you won't understand. The Q Revo has poor obstacle avoidance so you still have to go around and remove everything off the floor. I don't think u understand how easy it is to use devices like the Roborck Dyad and Dyson. They so lightweight and cordless that it will clean faster using them than a standard robot vacuum. I think people fail to see the cons with these robots. They are a great tool but not perfect for everybodies task.
@@BreakItYourself I am just starting the process with them. They want a video of me cleaning the contacts…. August will be one year. Shame cause I use twice daily cause it really works well when it’s charged.
@@benton. Please let me know what they end up doing. I'd like to know if they're not doing right by their customers. I hope they get you up and running soon.
