Thanks man. I really appreciate that. I put a lot of effort into trying to do the best quality work that I can. It means alot to hear it called artistry.

Great work. Would have been really helpful to see what the front of that rocker looked like after you cut and welded prior to installing it on the truck. Literally doing this right now and didn’t realize those rockers had extra material to cut off lol.

Yeah, they definitely have extra material to cut off. I’d assume if your cab corner is good you’d be able to cut right on the of the panel and take the whole excess. I had to reform the end of the panel like it would have been factory and spot weld it back in. I have another video showing how I built the new cab corner from scratch as well. I think that would probably help you see how it all goes together and help you decided how to attack yours man.

Thanks man, I’ve watched both more times than I want to admit lol. I’m not a sheet metal artisan like you haha. Thankfully my corner is pretty decent but the back corner is shot like most of them. Did you cut the back side of the rocker (towards the back of the cab?)

@@kombeezy833 take your time with the sheet metal forming and watch guys like @Makeitcustom you can do a lot with not very much. Being a good panel beater is 60% determination, 30% F**k around and find out, and 10% skill haha. I’m trying to remember how I did it. I’ll have to go back and watch it again. Ha.

@@kombeezy833 the rocker ends and has the excess. I cut it to like a 3/4 inch long flange and still welded the seam up. I wanted to spot weld like the factory but it was to much of a fight to hold the panels tight.
