The only person I can imagine the commenter said is : Yuyuko Saigyouji from Touhou Based on the fact that Japaneat tried and failed to reference Touhou in this short
It's listed as "original sound" in the bottom of the video, though. Maybe he just wasn't aware of where it came from? Its possible the track itself is in public domain now, which could raise the chances of it being spread around without the actual title of the music connected to it
It’s honestly getting better though!! One of my favorite gas stations (as most convenience store are here lol) is huge and serves freshly made pulled pork and fried chicken sandwiches.
It irritates me to no end that 7 Eleven is owned by a Japanese company, but the ones in my country don't sell any of the good stuff they have in Japan.
it always hurts me when i see that unfilled corner of the sandwich, specially bc here in peru we use that crust-less bread for the always magnificent triples and MAN are those filled to the brim with toppings… TWO LAYERS OF THEM!
It’s funny how you said that it reminded you of a time capsule, because even before you said that, this video immediately brought my mind back to growing up in Tokyo in the late eighties and early nineties as a kid.
This convenience store that's probably run by a family or independent business looks like our own mom and pop family owned bread bakery. This is sweet and wholesome to see
Wonder down random Japanese streets, and find random amazing sandwiches. I'll do my best to find the katsu, and fruit cream sandwiches when I visit Japan
I feel like those sandwiches are a lot like the Easter baskets you get at the store that have all of the good stuff on top & in front & the actual basket was a cardboard box & other fillers! Lol, I think the egg was the best example of this! 👀😂🤣😝
yooooo i used to live near here!!! if you go to nishi-sugamo, there's a banger yakisoba restaurant that's really different than what a "yakisoba" usually is. you gotta try it
Strawberry sandwiches are a lovely dish, both sweet and salty. If you are looking for a particullarly gourmet sandwich experience I recomend trying to make a shrimp, strawberry and cheese sandwich. Try using fresh strawberries, nice grilled shrimp and a mild tasting cheese like spanish manchego, muenster or gouda. I don't know if you can biy this dish in a restaurant in either Japan or US, but do try it at home
