So there's a scene in Rebels where Admiral Constantine (who is kind of a moron) makes a claim about the Rebel Alliance that might give us some incite about what happens at the end of Andor.

I think Dedra is going to fall prey to intraoffice politics & she’ll be turned into a cautionary tale for other Imperials. After that anyone claiming that the rebels are anything more than pockets of resistance will be seen as overreacting/overreaching & dismissed out of hand by their superiors.

Yeah she’s going to be silenced. The problem with systems like The Empire (aside from all the evil shit) is you think if you play by the rules and excel and show competence you will succeed and be rewarded, but fascistic systems often don’t reward merit. People who show merit and talent, especially people like Dedra who are smart enough to be critical when people higher up than her do shit wrong including The Emperor himself and doesn’t just blindly suck up to and agree with shit she knows will backfire, are often perceived as threats and cut down even at the cost of the success of the system.

As he told Saw, Luthen is desperate to drive the movement. I think Deidra’s standing is going to plummet next season as she takes the blame for Rix Road. We’ve had it seeded now that the ISB thinks that Kreegyr might have been Axis. Preening from the success of the trap that destroyed Kreegyr’s Separatist cell and Deidra on the outs after her failure on Ferrix, i think the ISB may consider the whole matter wrapped up (which is exactly the kind of overconfidence Luthen was hoping for when he allowed them to take down Kreegyr’s cell). At this point ISB hasn’t told the navy anything about a galaxy wide rebel network. If they think they resolved the problem themselves already, they won’t. Deidra may be left the Cassandra warning the Empire about the true surviving and expanding vastness of the rebel alliance.

It's not like Tarkin agreed with Konstantine, or even needed to correct him for him to do his job. Officers like Tarkin and Thrawn and Yularen knew. But it works to their advantage if the rank and file don't, because it's easier to spot their mistakes.

It could be a failure of communication between production teams, however, in universe there's a multitude of ways that plot hole could be explained away. In the Star Wars universe the imperial security bureau is known for operating largely in secrecy and for the most part, not openly sharing its information. It's a minor plot point in andor that the ISBs ability to freely access reports from all branches of the empire is still a relatively new thing. Nowhere did it say that the imperial Army and Navy have the ability to freely access the ISB's data. It's possible that supervisor dedra could have proven the galactic coordination of rebel groups, but that information was not shared freely with the imperial Navy or Army. It also fits the empire's style that this information may have been deliberately concealed as part of the imperial propaganda campaign. In effect, create the illusion that the rebels are small and isolated groups rather than a growing movement. Alternatively, in the show Star Wars rebels the character that gives that line, I forget his name, is known throughout the show to be massively incompetent, and generally ill-informed in any situation.

I'm 100% confident the two production teams didn't communicate with each other. It is the job of Disney's oversight board to avoid incongruity.

The Isb is notorious for keeping secrets, so it's not unlikely that they would only tell high ranking imperials as well as instruct said imperials to keep it under wraps

Dedra is ISB. The secret police like organization. Even if they had evidence of a coordinated rebellion like what is trying to prove, it doesn’t mean the rank and file (even higher up officers) would know this.

It may be that two years later the various Rebel groups still didn't sort out their differences and amalgamated into the united and organized movement Luther attempted so hard to drive them to become. After all that's the whole point of Ezra's broadcast at the finalle of Rebels season one and the Mon Mothma's defection arc and later Saw Guerrera's attempt to lure her rebel group into his fold in later seasons.

Image that. A government/ military body have more than one poler opposing views on what they believe is happening around them. It’s one group that discard the rebels as nothing but individual’s pockets and another that see them as a unifying network coming together to a larger whole. That never happens in real life.😂

The Admiral was widely known for being quite incompetent, so if he even had clearance to read the reports, he wouldn't have made any sense of it. The military answered to the ISB upon request, not the other way around. He was probably in the dark of the complete magnitude of the rebellion.

How old is Deirdre ? Would you say she could be about the age of Andor's sister ? Could those golden locks hide the dark roots of a girl from Canari ? Does Star Wars like the whole family thing too much? Would they do that to us ? Another separated kids story line? Imagine a young girl caught in a security sweep and dropped off at an imperial orphanage. Then, her genetics and super high IQ get her funneled into the imperial machine as an intelligence officer. It could make for a twist at the end when she sees the genetic scans of Andor and realizes who he is.
