I always wanted to try making at least one video with the sound effects I've been hearing from Japanese Guides for YEARS - I always loved them for some reason - let me know if you like it or it's more annoying, but it was fun trying it out ^^

One thing I'd say is worth knowing when throwing eggs is the splash of ink you put out beneath your feet. This is capable of splatting chum and smallfry, so is more useful in tight situations to splat them if you have a charger or some other weapon and can't get away.

Especially useful in Mothership waves. You can get an egg in the basket AND generate a new egg at the same time.

I’ve also used a well-timed egg throw to rez a teammate. The splash works as a revive if they’re near you.

Snatchers can sometimes be your best friends. They will gather up bunches of eggs into a nice little pile and depending on their exit strategy can even bring eggs closer to the basket. It's not a strategy to always apply but more of something to be aware of, especially if there's like 5 eggs scattered in a small area and it would be a huge pain to relocate them all closer (tornado round style) or if you have to deal with situations such as the classic two stingers on opposite sides of the map and a funny big shot in the middle. Keep an eye on the sky, squiddo!

I think another good thing to learn is juggling. When you splat an enemy by the shore you cant always get all the eggs nor should you. However if you have a fairly open line back to the basket it can be greatly beneficial to take 2 eggs at much the same speed as 1. First egg you throw towards the basket and grab a second one. On the swim to the first egg you should have recharged enough ink to throw the second egg and pick up the first one. Do this until you get both to the basket. Boom two eggs for the same time as one.

Tossing a splat bomb at that perfect time between a teammate dying and that teammate's lifesaver spawning is so rewarding. Splat bombs in general get a revive done easy (with some extra damage too!!), especially if it was someone who ran to the shore at a bad time and got overwhelmed. Makes it easier for everyone. Also helps with egg collection- gets the hoards away from them. One video I'd love to see is tips on how to make yourself "easier to revive" if that makes sense. There's so many times where I've lost because I'm the last person standing and the lifesavers are so far away in completely different directions that I get overwhelmed instantly. Alternatively, sometimes I'm in a really bad spot without realizing it, get splatted, and don't quite know where the most efficient place is to go so my teammates can come get me without dying themselves. Some general tips to think of on the spot might fit well with your shorter videos. Thank you for your time!!!

Hmm how to get revived easily is such a hard topic since it's different based on any situations....though from what I see in Freelance a lot of people don't even try to move their Lifebelts into a good position for some weird reason.

@@HDHaZmY Exactly- I'm freelance only and it's something I'm realizing, too. A lot of people stop moving entirely(even if theyre far away from the group), hang by the shore, or plop themselves right into the middle of hoards. I think it's just something a lot of people don't think about; I certainly didn't until recently. What's considered a "good" position, as you put it, could be the topic of discussion. I recently hit Profreshional +1 (major for me lol, know that isnt much but I'm workin on it) and one of the most embarrassing things ever is dying and having to see a teammate be like "okay. Lets go get her" and trudge across the map LOL. Some general tips to run though my mind on how to make that trudge as easy as possible would be awesome. Thanks for the reply!

Please make a video on this! This is like one of my biggest pet peeves. What you should do: - Press “Help Me!” as soon as you get splatted (before your life ring even appears) so your teammates can start making their way to you if they are far away. Many freelance players say NOTHING and just expect other teammates to know they are waiting to be revived. - Make your way towards the nearest teammate OR the basket. If you don’t know where your teammates are, you can follow the salmonids as they are moving towards your teammates. Don’t just sit there! - If one of your teammates is trying to revive you with an accurate/low ink spread weapon (e.g. charger) DO NOT JUMP UP AND DOWN AND MOVE AROUND IN CIRCLES as they are trying to revive you. You’re making it more difficult! Again, use “Help me!” to get attention, don’t jump around in circles. - Try to move out into the open, away from high ledges. It’s hard for your teammates to revive you if you are close to the bottom of the ledge and they are at the top. You might logically think that being as close to them as possible is best, but the ink from shooter weapons sprays outward in a cone shape, meaning it’s more likely for you to be hit by them if you are a bit further away as opposed to touching them/right in their face. - Also remember that teammates cannot revive you through Steel Eels or behind Slammin’ Lid beams. - If no one is on their way to revive you, continue to press ‘Help Me!’ every few seconds, as you make your way towards your teammate(s), especially if your quota has not been met and/or time is short. - The only reasons to rapid spam “Help me!” are: A) You are one egg away from the quota and you are the only one on your team with an egg close to the basket with time running out. B) You are nowhere near the quota & running out of time and one of your teammates doesn’t seem to realize how dire the circumstances are/is attempting to solo the salmonid hoard.

If there's a scrapper nearby my lifesaver I try to get in front of it cause it pushes you faster than you could move, plus it's going straight to one of your co-workers!

You probably have mentioned this in a previous video already, but I see a lot of people throwing bombs at their teammates as soon as said teammate is splatted, and the bomb explodes before the teammate is actually revivable... And obviously that's a huge waste of ink. My friend taught me a cool trick though. Since splat bombs only start their explosion countdown upon touching the ground, you can aim way up high and toss one into the air, and it'll usually explode after the teammate's life ring is ready. Really, really helpful.

One thing to remember on the contrary, I do this trick all the time (I think I press B first though), but sometimes it's not desired, so you have to be mindful to not suddenly throw your splat bombs too far. It happens occasionally, that I throw my splat bomb over a flyfish's basket, like the bomb hits the top of the lid and rolls over

A big tip - not as simple - Stay safe! Swim away from danger, don't be a reckless rambo. Use your special BEFORE it gets too busy. STAY ALIVE! Reviving players takes time away from splatting salmonids, being dead takes time away from splatting salmonids

Now you are speaking my language! Splat Bombs are the most underutilized tool in SR. Up close, it can decimate an entire area of lessers (while providing damage to nearby Cohooks and bosses). In fact, when a slat bomb comes into contact with a downed worker, it causes an explosion that deals damage. You can kill low health steel eels and other bosses with this trick. Splat bombs also excel in the ability to multitask. You can also save your fellow workers from far distances and, in most cases, keep yourself safe doing so while dealing with other immediate threats. Why would you risk swimming to rescue someone in the middle of a mist-cloud missile-kurfufel if you can just throw a bomb instead?

Also, throwing eggs can splat chums that are near you, so if you have lesser mobs right in front of you, just throw right through ‘em and they’ll die

Also, if you're the last one left and know you're about to die... *_THROW A BOMB!_* It's saved one of my runs a significant number of times, so remembering to throw a bomb as a last ditch effort can mean the difference between a wave cleared and a team wiped!

The thing about jumping - holding the button actually makes you jump higher. It's slower, but it does help if you're trying to get it farther. So combining the squid form with the max jump height you can reach [holding A as long as you can before your squid starts falling back down] will surely give you a good throw. This is not a bug. This is how the jump works.

Slammin lids are so hard to get right to me. The shape of the bomb is a bit hard to get right without it rolling and wasting your ink.
