Today is a special day, my friends, for we are experiencing a BRAND NEW piece of content! That's right, the Season 10 Update brought with it an all new competitive voyage known as.. The Skull of Siren Skull.
At present, the most valuable piece of loot that, for its expensive price, attracts a whole lot of PvP. Do I have what it takes to collect as many of these as possible or will I succumb to this challenge?

I played enlisted. I come across it randomly downloaded it and found it to be really fun. It's got battlefield type gameplay. You can go in as just yourself or you can play in a mode where you get a whole squad that follows you. Your squad will be made of AI people, but you could switch to any of your people on your squad at any time and you control your squad and their actions so you and your squad can go take an objective by yourself. If your other teammates aren't willing to go with you, it also has pretty realistic mortars and a lot of other aspects of warfare that are left out of other games. Worth trying and since it's free you got no excuse. Worst case scenario you end up deleting it. Best case scenario you get a new game you love

LOL the 3k hours instant island recognition is too real. Anytime we do the Siren Song my crew just defaults to letting me plan our path because nine times out of ten I can name off the islands before they can even take out their maps. And the other 1/10 times I can guess what region the islands are in based off of the shapes of the rocks.

I've really been enjoying the SoSS event, and I don't usually like PvP in Sea of Thieves. This is MUCH more fun than the Chest of Fortune was last season. Great video as always!

Yes, its an odd one - handing the skulls in is fairly easy - especially if you manage to steal a few here and there. Opening the chests, meanwhile, is always busywork and there isnt really a way to speed it up.

I recently got this game and this was the second quest me and my friend done, we got the skull but had no idea where to put it but then one ship came after us spamming “wanna make an alliance” while simultaneously murdering us. now they killed both of us but they didn’t take the skull for some reason(I was assuming they were trolling). They’d eventually sink are ship and I would die but somehow my friend survived with the skull and when I made it back to him we found out where we had to go. That was my first experience with that skull and the first real experience with this game.

This was a very engaging video to watch (twice) and I loved it. Having Micromads there made the video that much better, and I’m sorry Cliff but I think her sense of humor might rival your own… I’m very happy that you two had such a great time with this new voyage. I can’t say my experience went just as well because 80% of them were completely uncontested; the voyages that were contested only had me in combat for the final part of the voyage (this means I did all the digging). This is why I enjoyed this video so much. Also I still love the music that plays during battles and/or the climax. I wish you good luck for your future endeavors!

Did about 10 siren songs day 1 (did the first one rowboat only too, after that as brig) and got contested 4 times by the same solo slooper, very nice guy, he really tried 1v3, sadly lost every time. He was still very positiv about it and played music with us after every skull. :D And another 10 over the last few days, I think I fought just 2 more times.

I've been in this game almost 500 hours and almost never take part in PvP. I generally avoid it. It's not like I didn't try, it's that the few times I did try gave me the shakes so bad I couldn't deal with it. But - people like Cliff, Phuzzy, and Toxie always make it look fun, so I couldn't totally give up the idea of trying. I eventually figured out I just needed people I know and trust with me. And over the weekend, with my brother and his friend backing me up - I finally got my first high value steal grabbing one of these out of somebody else's hands. (Man, what a rush that was!) No shakes, just pure "it don't matter if we win or lose, just try!" For Cliff - thanks for always encouraging others to keep trying. And for others who may of be in the same situation - don't give up. It'll come, just take the L's on the chin and keep trying!

I'm a long time returning player. I have little to know PVP experience. I loaded up the game, hopped into a solo sloop and did that quest without any trouble. No other player ship bothered me. I must've been very lucky :D

Funny, I've done this voyage exactly once (during the little promotional weekend that offered a bonus reward of a unique title) and didn't see a single other ship the entire time. The worst part was simply cutting a path through the swarms of coral skeletons on the final island.

So fun fact cliff, during community weekend, over a period of like 24 hrs across both days after community grade 4 had been reached, I one manned a brig, and went from grade 1 in all siren song commendations, to grade 5 in all siren song commendations, selling each skull for either 100k or 125k, and overall, I made 2.4 million gold just from basically siren song voyages

I remember the time where I was in a fight with two other sloops for the key and the chest. I sunk, the sloop with the chest sunk, and the people who stole my key sunk. I backspawned and swam all the way to the nearest fortress and got the chest when I got my ship and turned in the skull.

I didnt want to fight off a PVP sweat lord solo slooper on a solo sloop. so i went to the nearest world event (ghost fleet ships) rowboated onto the large island, went into the cave system, wedged the key into some rocks to the point you couldnt see the stream of light inside the cave, only see it outside above the island and sat back and watched total chaos unfold. was the most chill hour hour of my life watching them battle the ghost fleet alone in their sloop while trying to get onto the island and find the kay. twas a beautiful tragedy to watch unfold. their was allot of swearing involved.

The best way to do these is to server-hop and either steal a close one or, if you hate pvp, get a fresh server with close digs. In the latter case, do not waste time getting supplies. Every second gives others a chance to get closer. Better discourage them by being too far away to even try.
