EZ Drummer is a life saver for me. Ever since I had an issue with my tendons in my hand, playing real drums is so uncomfortable. This software keeps me drumming with my mouse.

I think there's a lot that can be done with the humanizer filter. It would be really cool to be able to download your favorite drummer's humanizer settings. Imagine being able to have Mike Portnoy play on my shitter bedroom metal?

I recently bought Sleven Slate Drums SDD5.5 which is also pretty epic! Loving it. Might check out the Ez Drummer as well. Can never have enough sounds!!!

I have it too, but I’m using it on my Alesis kit with a dm10 module. Ssd seems to have trouble with the hi hat triggering. I can’t get accurate open and close sounds from it. Anyone else have that issue? That’s why I’m looking into ed3.

@@drumsonly44 yes, but is twice as much too. Lol. I still don’t use my e kit enough to justify it. And I don’t run triggers on my acoustic kit. Maybe if I combine them I. The future and go full Neil Peart setup I can. Lol. But I have messed around with Superior Drummer and do agree. I just installed ED3 and am quite impressed. Mapping is as easy as it comes! So nice. And the hi hats are way better than SSD5.5.

EZ drummer definitely seems to be more user friendly than GGD. I love how everything is labeled! In GGD you have to spend so much time going through and finding which beat you want.

GGD has gotten much more user friendly over time. Also, as a drummer, I don't find most of these EZDrummer features as something I'm personally looking for--I just want the best sounding samples as easily as possible. That being said, this could be a great choice for a non-drummer and that's really cool.

I'm not someone that plays drums so I'm always using pre made grooves. With the new groove customization it allows you to make the beat your own which is a game changer for getting the sound in your head into the program. I have GGD though the new samples in EZD3 along with the new expansion packs I got from Toontrack is more then what I need.

Christ. I’ve been using EZ2 forever and even customized Reaper to mirror that Cubase-style drum editor. It’s like they paid attention to every little thing that bugged me about the existing software and fixed them all with this new version

I just don't like that its all pulled from the loops from within, and I can tell. If you don't have Logic and its drummer than its better than nothing. For AI groove creation Logic's drummer just seems far more efficient, and spews out far more that I like. The AI works beats to the groove I drop in, from bass usually, with far more creative variance. Idk seems like the AI thinks like I do for creating grooves. Shiznit? Not compared to Logic's. For PC users tho, its gotta be sweet. In the end, I am still usually playing it in anyway....thx for the vid.

I find the Tight Room kit has a bit of a 70’s sound. The kick drum and snare have that groovy vibe of the 1970’s which is pretty cool.

I have ezdrummer3 and superior drummer 3. Love the software. Makes getting a clean beautiful sound so easy and no matter what genre you're playing there are samples that got you covered

Dude?... Have you done a vid for Addictive Drums 2? I mean I have the full software suite and EZDrummer and Full Suite of Superior Drummer. I can make AD2 sound just as good as overpriced & bloated Superior Drummer 3 and save on so much space too.. 12 GB vs. 150 GB for SD 3, Im just sayin' Yo! Oh Yurrrrrrr!

I have become addicted. I am not really not interested in these softwareproducts, but just the presentation, Samus, and this video is so god damn god , and enjoyable to Watch, so I watched it just because of that. Geeze - Loving your channel man... So I'm just sort of getting into the E-Drum thing after buying an E-Drum kit from one of the lower down brands. BUT! I'm now considering doing an A2E conversion on an acoustic kit that I own but wondered about the direction I should take and by that I mean do I just do away with my (cheap) module and go EZdrummer 3 with a DDrum Trigger Interface instead. The kit will be permanently set up in my living room and I believe that you also run the same sort of configuration? Correct me if I'm wrong...

Amazing software, but i am facing a problem. i have Roland td07 usb and td03 has midi. going line from the 03 to 07 and EZdrummer is only getting what the pads connected to the 07 . Was thinking to get a midi to usb adaptor but will it take 2 modules and able to patch individually ?

Fancy time keepers and great for people who don't have access to studio sets, BUT... are the rolls not a tad weak? placement dynamics in touch... perhaps one day George Jetson will replace drummers, but not today... nothing beats the feeling of a real human and the magic of connection in making that sound...keep on brother!

I think that the auto organizer is kind of ridiculous. And scary. That kinda takes the human music making process out of the picture to a huge degree. This is the start of ppl letting a computer make the entire song. To think about this in the big picture, scares the hell out of me. And I don't like the idea of listening to songs that have no real meaning or feeling to it cuz a human didn't create it. Don't let technology win ppl. AI is gonna take over for real if shit like this continues. I don't wanna be made obsolete! I know most of you won't think that this will happen or I'm thinking irrationally, that this is just a program to help make music, but mark my words. Like I said, soon there will be programs that make music, and they will take ideas from all your music tastes, take it from RU-vid, Spotify, what have you, possibly social media outlets, and make entire songs for you. I'm guessing this will happen in the not so distant future. Be mindful of what's happening. This may seem like it's an awesome program, but this should scare you for what's to come!
