Plat 5 is different from, lets say, plat 3 just like in all ranks. I have barely any hours on dps and I climbed from bronze to plat 5 on dps in one sitting by hiding in a corner and then running in a straight line at their supports, after the fight started holding down left click with Cass, and missing 80% of my shots. You can get to Plat 5 by being a monkey with dps very easily, but climbing within plat takes more than just memeing your way through peoples lack of awareness.

that's the common thing with these mediocre plat players with big egos, they have decent aim, they can occasionally solo kill (which is where their idea that they're carrying their team hard comes from), but unfortunately they do not realize how much they feed

@@Tsundemo it is real, many people of proven it by being hardstuck on their main and then placing higher on an alt,

@@ultimateblaze23 placing higher on an alt doesn't really mean anything. If you've played 150 games on your main and you haven't gotten past plat 2 and you go and get placed diamond 3 on an alt 1 of 2 things will happen: 1. Either you actually are closer to diamond and your rating will adjust on your main as well to reflect that or. 2. You were somewhat lucky through your placements and playing more games on the alt will make the account reflect the same rating as your main account. I have 3 accounts each of which I have reached the same peaks with one account being a silver border ow1 acc, the other being an ow1 smurf, and the final being an account totally new to ow2.

Funny thing is these people don’t even have close to gm level aim. That means you peak for one second out of position and you get deleted.
