Long time ago when I turned 21. Got my ID and headed to a country bar called The Cotton Club because it was in cotton country. The stage was surrounded by chicken wire to protect the performers. Hell of a joint.

Reminds me of a time a buddy and I were watching this cowboy flick and a saloon fight broke out. He recalled an old beer/biker type bar we used to hang out in before we joined the Marines and did a tour in Vietnam. "Will you look at that! Reminds me of that time in the Garter Girls. Remember?" In his biography, friends say that they played in some rough bars, and the band got paid based on the sales of the night. If a fight broke out, Toby would be the first one off stage breaking it up, because if the Bar shuts down, they don’t get paid. Life long friends, said they have seen Toby knocked down, in a fight, but have never seen him lose one. 👍🏼
Funny thing about the girl “peeing standing up” is that it leaves you to assume that it’s actually a man. It also leaves you wondering if she washed her hands before patting his cheek when she walked by. There’s a good song called “I think I’m dancing with a man”. The video features carrot top. It’s hilarious. Basically a guy dances with a girl and halfway through the dance figures out that it ain’t no girl. The song is by Rodney carrington. Excellent singer and also a comedian.
Not sure if you know of Darius Rucker, formerly of Hootie and the blowfish, is now a country singer and a pretty darn good one. One of the few black country artists out there. I love the crossover to a new genre, it just show how very he is.
