I'm still relatively inexperienced at this game. Got it a few months ago and only just now beat it for the very first time. But I absolutely love this game look forward to the next challenge. One small step closer to Ascension 20
It takes a while, but I never expected to get to A20 at all. Sometimes not even close. But with time, I did it and enjoy the game at its maximum difficulty. If you really want to do it, I'm sure you'll get there!
Why did jorbs pick runic with 10 basic cards still in his deck? Pbox could serve to transform them or kite can provide 5th energy without any drawbacks. Not to mention dead branch can cause hand clog
He had catalyst, nightmare, wraith form, even phantasmal killer - all cards which get so much better when retained. Most of those are great anyway, pyramid makes them crazy good. The ten basics weren't the issue - the upgrade made them chunky, particularly the strikes. Dead branch was a little scary, but seems to have worked out.
