@@Bloodseeker9000 What is low elo for you? Because in Emerald, people know how to play against Swain. I mained Swain ADC for a long time now, and if I'm not lastpick, people will often counter with long range ADC's.
Midbeast: you have to wait after landing your E to then land your W for the stacks, that's very important. also Midbeast a few minutes later: Swain doesn't have any mechanics.
He also missed the part where the dude levelled E then Q, meaning the example he was giving where he "pulled the enemy into the W" literally didn't happen as he was level 2 without W.
Swain has been very good bot for a while but the pick has clear drawbacks, the most prominent being the fact that you are playing on a time limit. After your 3rd-ish item, the enemy adc will start outscaling you hard. At that point, unless you are extremely feed and the enemy adc has like 0 resources, almost any adc can stand inside Swain ult and out-dps with just autos. This is one of the reasons why Swain usually goes tanky after his 2/3 core items. It’s a strong pick but you gotta know how to close out games quickly
half of swains power is dependent on the fact no one plays him so people just dont know what to do vs him. he is very kitable and cant solo carry without support from a team behind him, he also gets outscaled easily. also swains passive stacks dont really mean anything and doesnt interact with the rest of his kit that much, they could remove it completely and not much would change much

True , I only peak diamond in other roles especially jgl. I main supp then I suddenly peak GM. Addicted but switching to supp and using my experience in other roles especially jgl helps me a lot in achieving a new peak with less stress.

Swain doesn't have strong base stat, he got low base armor and not massive lvl 18 stats either. But swain doesn't scale on ap, he scales haste and utility like liandry and rylai and can go triple tank item frozen heart spirit visage stoneplate if he wants to. Cause he's not reliant on dmg to be annoying and still provide non stop aoe burn. But since he's good from lvl6 to 2 items he's always op in solo queue. Jakshit and roa are garbage on him. Never play this you're shitting on the champion and you will be ignored.
i find it hilarious how hard this game is for some people to climb on, then you have the gigachad wunder who spent more time in his pro career spamming wow than taking the game seriously, but can literally just go back to solo que and climb to chally anytime he wants.
If you play %hp ads (in the kit or botrk rushers and aren’t named kaisa), The lane is free and swain never outscales. These champs aren’t the meta in bot anymore so…. As a kog/varus/twitch enjoyer I can say I enjoyed seeing swain when I played.
@@jaotrx7163yeah, hes so bad, his ult only gives him like 100 heal per second and his w and e only heal 6% of max health every couple of seconds and his passive gives him hundreds of hp for free and his q does 300 damage every 3 seconds while liandrys is also permanently burning everything around him
I know it's your channel but I have to admit that it's kind of frustrating when I want to see the player we are focusing on and a lot of time is spent moving around the map looking at other lanes. I like it when you review vods from the player's perspective to avoid this so we always see what the player sees.

I miss swain v2 the most with his placeable crow on q that would auto target anyone you hit with e. Quas showed me the power of that swain top and I loved it
Swain BOT has been broken since they made the mana restore on Lost Chapter that high. APCs can't be moved and the superior access to damage early game, which is often higher in base number compared to an ADC's Abilities and AAs. That's why Seraphine APC was so cancerous at 55+% Winrate two seasons ago. She couldn't be moved and her ability to push was too oppressive. ADCs are generally stupid, not taking MR and feeding as well. ADCs will outscale Battlemages, but it takes way too much time to do so.
Got secondary role (jungle) few days ago. Dude picked swain bot, looked up teammates before game to know who to gank swain also high af winrate. Probably Smurf as well. We played the game alone top wanted to ff min 3-4. Also noticed it for quite some time playing swain supp for some fun here and there soloing like the whole enemy team😂.
My friend and I climbed from being stuck in bronze for multiple seasons all the way to platinum in one season with Swain bot Taric supp with a 75% winrate, i agree its dumb
i think toplane is more of a mechanical lane. Its constantly small trades with super tight windows and if you fuck up your whole lane is just fucked. Maybe Wunder just isnt mechanically good enough?
asol is also better in botlane btw, having any support with an AoE spell like naut E or leona W makes your early game waveclear so easy and you pretty much skip the point where asol is weak
Swain is a high Elo champ. Your team needs to know how to play around him and he needs and engage support. It's really game dependent. In Korea, they pick engage supports so it works. Also, rocketbelt is better than liandry.
@@brydonthunder no. That's not how logic works, sadly. Saying "if A then B" does not imply "if not A then not B". Meaning saying if a champ relies on the team it only works in high elo does NOT imply that a champ that does not need allies to play around it does not work in high elo. Meaning renekton can work in BOTH low elo and high elo. Most of the time, when people refer to a champion as high elo, it's not usually a compliment. It means this champion has certain restrictions that make it difficult to play in a chaotic environment. It may surpass the limits of other champions than ideal environments but not always.
I have been spamming the Chinese swain setup in top with aery. rushing roa, cosmic drive and abyssal mask....most melee champions can't stand into his poke
@@anferneemorrigan7542 aery,manaflow, transcendence, scorch Secondary is optional, u can go presence of mind and tenacity or coup de grace or resolve tree with conditioning or bone plating with overgrowth or unflinching
You can e right away just make sure you use w fast too… the root will be the same amount is time and it’s good to pull right away sometimes especially against champs with skill shots so they don’t have time to realize they WILL be pulled soon
I used to hate facing swains the most long time ago mid when I played ranked. But I was an assassin one trick. I’d kill him so many times and just one good jungler gank would bring him back in. Felt unkillable
