Thanks for the solve Bremster, and of course you are forgiven for checking the hints. Much better to get a hint and find the intended path than force a horrible chain or have to give up. Hope you feel better soon!

It turns out that coloring wasn't necessary except possibly with quads (lots of them!) and triples. The initial break-in was an X-wing in 9s. The quads that followed provided lots of restrictions. Near the end, a skyscraper in 2s wedged the last bit open. (Yes, I colored the X-wing and skyscraper, too.) 6:10 Where can 9s go in rows 6 and 7? 13:50 I hope you get over your virus. Despite the medicine, you spotted a couple things I missed, and you got them a lot faster. 28:30 The skyscraper in 2s is visible in the grid -- rows 1 and 8. 2 is restricted to columns 3 and 9 in row 8. 31:10 It would have been nice to notice the logic from the 12 corner cells. But I'm satisfied with finding the skyscraper instead, which does the same thing.

Having completed the puzzle after getting stuck and taking a guess, which unlike most of my guesses worked out, I feel for you taking a hint, sometimes they are necessary. Excellent puzzle

I found it using the 34 pairs pointing into box 9. I didn't even consider the 12 pairs. That would have been the obvious thing. Around 31:00 mark. I color coded the 34 pairs and that resolved the puzzle also.

Nice challenge on this one! I did see the X-wing on the 9s at the beginning, but getting to the end I ended up bifurcating (and getting it wrong the first time), leaving me with a time of 21:17 (conflict checker off). While watching Bremster's solve, I suddenly realized how I could have not bifurcated near the end by noting the 12 pairs in boxes 1, 3 and 7, and the restriction it put on box 9... oh well. 😅 (And I just got to BremSter's part where he sees it, glad he did during his solve unlike myself! 😄) Many thanks to damo_89 for the great puzzle and to BremSter for presenting it!

I am just amazed at how slowly my brain works. :) I got through this, but it took me an embarrassingly long time. I did see the opening trick -- but then just got completely bogged down. I don't know how to learn to see things faster... but I keep trying! Thanks for sharing this great puzzle. Bremster - with all respect -- please quit calling yourself dumb. It makes me feel I should hire a caretaker for myself. :D

32:25 with a bunch of Bremster's help. Needed to read the comments to spot the X-wing. Quite tricky in spots but a fun puzzle by Damos. Used what might be a wxyz wing but not quite sure. R 5 c9 is 2/3 , if it's 2 , R 1 c is 1 and r 4 col 9 is 6. If r 5 c9 is 3 , then r 5 c2 is 8 and r 4 c2 is 1 , making r4 c9 a 6 again. Hopefully you can kick that illness soon Brem 😊.

Thanks for the solve! This sounds slightly more complicated than a classic y wing, but it is very close to a classic y wing that exists at that part of the puzzle. Spoilers ahead.......... R6c7 is a y wing that sorts out r1c9 as well.

Admittedly I didn't even see the 12-pairs in my solve, but rather used the 34 in boxes 6/9 in conjunction w/ the 3/4 placements in box 3 to get the final bit sorted, felt like a tougher path than what spotting the 12 would've been

I subscribed again. As for content, do you have a copy of the list put out by Cracking the Cryptic fans? It is on their Google sheets. If you don't have that, I can try to remember what that link is to that. Also, someone on their discord might know what the link is for it. Oh and on their Discord they have fans submitting lots of puzzles there too.

there's no shame in needing help when your brain is mush, we as the audience sometimes use your videos to see what we're missing when we get stuck, you should be afforded the same right

At 31:19 you put a 1 in the r6c3 which was a bit premature since it could still go in box 1. Turned out to be a lucky guess, but the rest of the solve was flawless. Are the constructor’s hints part of the submission or are they available on LMD?

In this case the hints were part of the submission. They are forwarded to testers if needed, and sometimes used by me if I need them so a puzzle gets presented rather than lost because I miss something.

Beautiful puzzle. Solved it in 25:59. I'm sorry that your health doesn't allow you to solve these puzzles without help. They are so satisfying to solve. There was a little gap in logic at 31:35, because at that time 1 could still go to r3c3 as well in column 3. I finished the puzzle by looking at the two possibilities in r6c2: If it is 3, then r6c7 is 4. On the other hand, if r6c2 is 2, then r6c3 is 1, r4c2 is 8, r4c7 is 9, r2c7 is 3, and r6c7 is again 4. So in both cases r6c7 is 4, after which the puzzle solves easily.
