I'm sorry, but it boils my blood when people call any emergency alert from any country as "EAS" (an acronym which is designed for one specific American system). This alarm is part of a different system called "J-Alert", which infact does incorporate both earthquake alerts and national civil alerts (imagine living in japan and north korea decides to bomb japan, that would be the most peaceful death with that sound). Nobody seriously believes that anybody, not even the NHK, owns the C7add♯9 C♯7add♯9 chord progression, nor that it reminds people of the EAS alarm, especially not when the arpeggio is wrong and it’s not even a bell or chime sound.
