what a little beast. my buddy at work has one and he has not been kind to it. hasn't broken it yet. I think this is the best value crawler on the market right now.
Looks like a "Morel". I like that 1800kv SE! Have one in 2 of my TRX 4s. Sure liking the looks of your Crawler County Improvements! Can you do a video on the install of that motor? I have the same Capra and would like to see how you did it!
There is just something about that frame creaking along as it flex's. lol Love how it sounded. and you're right. This thing is awesome. I am REALLY becoming a fan of these motors as well. It will be the next one I get. Have a good weekend Jason
Dude that is killer love the trans rotation. I would have been worried…but makes sense. Can’t beat smoothness. And drag brake. I have stock Capra stuff in a sporty. Hold I’m doing a direct Capra chasis swap in the works RC it’s sweet but when went to put fusion and flat skid in not enough space I’m gonna rotate it I guess. Was considering 3gear which I know is popular but I don’t mind Capra trans so far….it just no drag brake. Need to advertise this one more I know it’s a problem out there, Capra and motor fit!
What foams you running? I have the 3bros and love them great tire deflection and grip and looks great gripping the crags. Also running some over drive it helps.
Have a fusion pro motor and deciding if it will be better in the vanquish stance or this Capra trying to make the most capable crawler without jumping to the rc4wd bully moa route. Any opinion? Thanks tho loved the video
We have a fusion pro in our phoenix and it is awesome. But we also have an axe system in the k10 and it's pretty darn good too. Tough decision but I do know it's great in the Phoenix
I did some grinding on the rr link risers as well to get some clearance for the motor. Just used some round black plastic spacers off an old parts tree. Just a combination of grinding and spacers until your happy with the fit. Good luck
I’m a newb. Been a nitro only guy since 2001 and I just bought this with vador skid and Fusion Pro. How does power get to the servos? Does the signal wire from the motor to the receiver also run power into the receiver? That can’t be right? I’m so confused how this works.
I think the motor is the thing that gives it power and the battery lol Idk what a servo does but the higher the number is better .. maybe it has something to do with steering ..😊or what a signal wire is or how the receiver connects lol I’ll ask Jason do a tutorial video so I can learn as well 💃😂
Yes the motor does supply the power to reciever. Has a built in bec which gives servo the amperage it needs. Lots has changed since 2001 lol 😆. Amazing tech! - Jason
