And so many people have such a difficult time believing in Heaven. How can you not when you hear Billy sing? "Someday we'll wave hello and wish we never waved goodbye"
The Pumpkins will be eligible for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in a few years. First, they fucking better be inducted. Second, please, let's have the famous lineup play the show.
It looks like he's about to start crying at the end. If I were singing a song about my band that I worked so hard to make work and loved through and through now crashing down and falling apart, I'd cry too.
just noticed the comments on the tabs. the one I put up is correct. watch his hands if you cant hear it when you play them for christ sake. and also there is no capo on the guitar for whoever is seeing one.
One of the most underrated SP songs of all-time. Question is why is this the only live footage of it on youtube? I mean I really like the acoustic version but is one video with the full band asking too much? I digress.
@TheUnknown285 I'd love for them to all get together for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame...but I highly doubt it'll happen. James want's nothing to do w/ Billy and have you seen recent pix of D'arcy? She is a hot mess...it's really ashame, she's a beautiful person, just lost. Here's to hoping that by then she will be healthier and James will finally let go of his hatred. A TRUE reunion of SP would be beyond Epic!
I'm sorry but I disagree about Machina being completely amazing. It should have been their last album, when I originally bought it I regretted it thinking I wasted money. When I actually listened to all of the songs I knew it was their most complete album, even though it is a concept album. Every song on that cd is top-notch and masterfully crafted. I did get a kick out of reading that Jimmy's drumming was criticized on the album, that son of a bitch can do no wrong, best drummer ever!
it's not hard to figure out the tuning.. the chord shapes probably look like this: A: x076000 E: 0776000 D: x576000 B: 7x76000 with that in mind you should be able to play the main verse without problems..
This I think was the problem with Machina. Don't get me wrong, I loved it, but not every song has to be an anthem. Billy makes all of his songs on acoustic before transferring them to electric. Some songs, like this and I of the Mourning and Try, Try, Try should have stayed just that.
