With this trick Steve can force his minecart into a boost way after jumping out of it, being free to do whatever he likes in the meantime. Very cool tech!

Ayy I invented that banjo up air clip!! I have a whole video on my YT channel the day he was released about landing up air combos! (At the very least I can't find any other videos showing landing up air combos so excuse me if I'm wrong.)

yea i did that day 1 too. not that complex. it's a landing upair and then you can experiment. i mean cool that you made a video about it, but that's owl in that clip. he probably came up with it himself, since he played that character a lot

I like how Smash people would think Steve's minecart tech look new, but then you realise it's probably an intended mechanic, as it works the same in Minecraft: the minecart still get a boost even without drivers. Can't wait for the day people find out the tech that let you make minecart-TNT (look up the Minecraft item if you never heard about it, would be terrifying if it was a thing in smash)

Honestly a TNT Minecart would probably be worse than a normal Minecart because you'd actually be able to shield it. Plus it's not like Steve could add on any shield pressure in most circumstances, given how Steve takes damage and knockback from his own TNT.

You missed the Sora on the left of the screen slightly bonking his forehead on the stage as he double jumped over the ledge in the final clip. Probably left a bruise.

My comment was on the last week smash video and I describe that during the zoom in! The camera was either cancel or interrupted by another player hitting each other. It’s one of the Weirdest things I found since they miss the last final clip. This final clip is simple.

12:45 Hi, Ganon main here. We call that hit the tipman. It has an odd downward angle that works well offstage as well. It's Ganon's only available 'jab lock" as his jab is too strong to actually lock.

Just a suggestion, if you guys have a newer nvidia card maybe you could record the clips with RTX video super resolution. I watch a lot of smash with it on because the quality is usually pretty crunchy, especially smash review clips. It has the AI smeary look but it's way more readable imo.

I calculated the odds for that Hero clip, and the chance of getting Hocus Pocus (3/278 or ≈1.08%) w/the giant effect (4.88%) just once is 0.052704%, or 1/527,040,000. Multiply that by itself for the second instance, and you get 0.0000277771162%, or 1/2,777,716,200,000. That Hero had a better chance of winning the lottery AND getting struck by lightning in the same day.

Next Smash Review should be with only new Smash 4 clips. Since the servers for that game are now shut down. T_T Lessgo ma boi Ness with the yoyo physics! Title isn't really accurate.

Damn. The Minecraft pyhsics with the redstone track with the minecart is insane. That's a 1 to 1 ratio from how it acts in Minecraft for real. Sakurai was not playing when he put Steve in the game. He REALLY did his Minecraft research with that one. If only the majority of other characters got that much attention to detail and functionality put into their movesets. Characters eould become more viable and it would be better game far beyond what it is now.

There was a block like that in the April Fools 2024 snapshot, aka the one that came out a week ago So no, there is one like that. Everything is covered. Yeah it’s technically after Ultimate’s release *and* applied to everything But that’s happened for others in different ways

7:39 okay, why would you guys ruin a clip like that by saying bad stuff, wth ! Those dash+reverse-up-airs are hard as heck to perform while keeping them true and he did 8 in a row which were all true ! Plus, at the end of the second combo, bro legit said "Sickk, i mean... it's Luigi so a bit cringe..." what the heck does that "cringe" was suppose to mean huh ?? And all of those "aww come on" and the "don't be like that" what were they too ?? "Don't be like that" it like if i said to you "stop being yourself" Luigi is a COMBO caracter, his way to fight is to find COMBOS !! It is as simple as that. The combos were sick, the Luigi put effort in these 2 combos and sent them to you both and got content from it so simply respect it !! It's not hard man 😢
