For those who didn't understood the interest of the last clip at 18:22 like the beefy smash doods ; It zooms in once when the scythe hits then it dezooms (everything is normal). But it zooms again when falcon hit inkling while it shouldn't.

Wait! There is something weird in the last clip, inkling hit and kill with the scythe causing a zoom in, but the why there is a second zoom when he gets hit by falcon's sideB?

17:20 banana is also transcendent, so I think the difference has to be specific item data, like how the item functions in the games engine. Like how banana can stay "alive" for a relatively decent amount of time compared to the normal non bracket items, but the peanut item has a relatively short lifespan, regardless of hitting a player or not (without being picked up that is, since picking an item up will essentially pause the life timer until it gets let go of)

loving all the mewtwo stuff in here! idk if you read comments but figured i would explain whats going on with some of them a few months ago i made a guide for double toss gyro combos for mewtwos, which is why both pgx and i ended up submitting clips to you! my double toss clip was to prove its possible on an actual human opponent, and pgx's came soon after that! also with the turnaround footstool disable clip - thats a solution to a fairly big problem with some of mewtwo's footstool combos, in that the opponent is able to turn around if (during hitstun) they are sent into the air and not in tumble. Easy to see this with charged Shadow balls at charges + %s where they're not sent into tumble. So now if the opponent knows to hold out to turn around upon landing and if the mewtwo knows RAR footstool disable is viable too, it instead becomes a 50/50 on getting the disable rather than "turn around ruins the combo"! hope this helps!

4:07 You can also option select a hard punish to Corrin for doing this with a smash attack macro. Hold the stick towards Corrin (for good DI in case they kick) and hold buffer A. If they drop the pin trying to tech chase you, you will land with no lag, then slide your finger to press B without letting go of A. It wil input a smash attack which, for most characters, is a true punish on Corrin.

As a Corrin enjoyer, seeing all these scenarios are indeed punishing a bad habit

The amiibo tournament is exactly the reason i think that spirits could save competitive smash. Just establish an accepted ruleset with a specific nuetral spirit and ban the OP assists. Would really add a lot of new combos and mechanics.

Hi, Ivy player here: up-tilt dodging things is intentional, like Bowser up-smash and KRool down-smash jumping over things. What's less intentional is that some attacks still _hit_ because of z-axis stuff somehow.

For your next episode,I'd say you to try a new Steve tecnique that I discovered in training. You'll need a few blocks,a platform like PS2 superior platforms and Steve's down air. Steve's down air usually does 21% damage if Steve stays on it,but if you block your opponent bewteen some block and a platform you can hit your opponent twice in once with Steve's down air. This allows Steve to get a lot of damage(close to 45/50%)from just his down air instead of a combo.

Another fun interaction with WiiFits neutral special is Pk Magnet. Steals the forming projectile of sun salutation but does not heal Lucas. I didn’t try Ness, but i assume the same. The sun only heals when Wii Fit fires it.

3:51 after a similar situation happened with lucarios counter and ivy’s uptilt when I was fighting my brother we ended up testing it. It happens every single time lucario will always miss his counter if you hit it with uptilt

The last clip isn't that underwhelming. When Inkling buries someone and kills with the scythe it zooms in twice. If it's the last stock it'll zoom in blue then red. As Kirby I killed someone buried by roller with a scythe but it just did the normal singular zoom in so idk why it happens
