Latisse grew my lashes back after chemo. You are totally right! Your lashes keep all sorts of allergens and other stuff out of your eyes. And when you have no brows either, I have to tell you, it is no fun when EVERYTHING gets in your eyes. So my doctor gave me Latisse and it was fantastic. (You have to be really, really careful not to get it ANYWHERE other than your eyes because you WILL get a hair growing in the middle of your cheek.
That is awesome to hear it helped! My lashes got so long on it, that they were all curly and wacky lookin so I stopped lol. Maybe I'll start again but just small, less frequent amounts =)
I’m an optometrist and I’m really glad people are talking about this. We use prostaglandins analogues in glaucoma treatment and we specifically tell patients to be careful to not get the eye drop on their eyelids because long term use comes with dark, ghoulish under eyes that appear really sunken. And the lashes usually end up so wiry and unruly that we call them “horse’s lashes”. I wish there was more regulation of these types of serums.
This explains why SOOOOO many young people doing makeup tutorials have such extreme darkness under their eyes when they have no makeup on. Makes sense now.
Latisse was actually accidentally created. The medical grade was used for patients with glaucoma and it was noted that it caused eyelash growth as a side effect. My mother had glaucoma in one eye, and alas, only beautiful lashes on that eye. Madarosis is a condition that causes one to lose eyelashes, which I suffer from. Latisse worked , but insurance doesn’t cover the cost, so once you stop using it, your lashes fall out again.
If you use your lashes for a medical reason and your doctor orders it WITHOUT the applicator, most insurers will cover it. First, contact your doctor and explain. Then call your insurance company. If you have an issue with it, please contact me. I work for a state legislature and have worked with constituents to help get their insurers to cover medically necessary medications. I am happy to help. It is extremely uncomfortable to live without eyelashes. I would never want someone else to go through this. I know how painful it is. (Also make sure your physician lists WHY the Latisse is necessary (that it is due to a chronic medical condition.) As a last resort, call the company that makes the brand name drug (Latisse itself). Usually brand name drug companies offer sizable discounts for people who need the medications for chronic or acute medical conditions.
ANYTHING that regrows hair is like that... Stop using and you lose it all. 😢 My hair is thinning and I fking hate it, my mother in law got me Nioxin but it was a waste because I can't afford to buy it once it runs out, so why bother 😭
This video made me think of the *"Radium Girls"* who didn't specifically use radium for beauty purposes initially, but were convinced that it was safe to consume by their employers, who did push the beauty "benefits" of radium. I wonder if people in a few decades will look back at us ignoring those side effects for longer lashes, the way we look back at people promoting radium.
Specifically the “radium girls” were girls who worked in timepiece factories painting radium on watch dials to make them glow in the dark. They were taught to use their tongue and lips to make a point on the brush, not being told it was radioactive and would slowly kill them. But it’s true that there were many others who used radium in tonics and water to make themselves “healthy”. It makes me shudder. They suffered so much and got nothing from their employers but their names and reputations dragged through the mud. Stuff you Missed in History Class did an amazing podcast about it.

I'm 100% convinced that court cases take So long not simply because it takes resources and there's so many cases going on that it just takes time, but also because the longer it drags on, the more likely you are to lose hope and quit and struggle to continue paying for the case.

Oh shoot I’m glad you’re doing this one, I had an infected cyst inside my eye underneath my top eyelid. It was so painful! Had to have medically removed. After that my doctor said no more eyelash serums. I had been using Neulash for a month before it had flared up. Buyer beware and do lots of research on what you’re putting on your eyes!
It wasn’t permanent damage, but my dr did say that what’s inside the cyst was full of disgusting bacteria that has the capacity to keep growing and potentially ruin your eyesight if not treated properly. After that I honestly never touched a lash serum and I have been using disposable mascara wands for my mascara tube, washing my eyes with a special solution before bed and qtips for eyeshadow application. I know it sounds extra, but after having one of those you’ll realize why I take so many precautions to never get them again. Take care y’all!
@@jewlz9095 Thank you for affirming my obsession with washing my make-up tools. I never reuse a brush or sponge I've used for eyeshadow, liner, foundation, or concealer. I only use blush and bronzer brushes a couple of times between washes, too. It only took one cyst on my eyelid to make me extra paranoid, but I've noticed fewer breakouts as a result too.
MLM’s seem to have a talent for making overpriced yet controversial & dangerous products. I’ll stick with $15 Careprost, haven’t had a single adverse effect
I dislike companies that assume and accuse people misusing their product. This comes off as SO shady. I would never buy any product that is associated with MLMs. Unfortunately, these types of companies are predatory and have hurt so many people. Mostly women and moms who are trying to make a better life for themselves. Some people have gone deeply into debt trying to make their MLM business work. These companies mislead people into thinking they can sell products to make money, but what is really needed is for the person to recruit more and more people into the MLM. It isn't really about the products as there are better or as good products at any store. These MLMs are a scam! I am so happy the word is finally getting out.
Yeah, the vast, vast majority of MLM products are just decoration to make it legally not a pyramid scheme. A great deal of them are just whitelabel junk, or stuff with very little product research behind it.

And mlm companies think that just bc rn they've skirted it, they won't get shut down in the future. They will at some point. So many that were shut down thought the same thing, they wouldn't get shut down. Huns will use the idea of products means that it's not a pyramid scheme but they also don't realize that products aren't the issue, it's the compensation for recruitment over compensation of product that makes it still a pyramid scheme.
Credit to buy more of their products... That's like Mario Badescu back in the mid 2010's. They put prescription strength corticosteroids that would never be prescribed for facial use in several of their face creams without labelling them as having anything but "natural" ingredients. The South Korean FDA discovered this so they had to recall all of those products suddenly back in like 2014ish. The halt of usage caused a lot of people to have severe reactions after the products disappeared from shelves and their website with no explanation. I was involved in a class action lawsuit against them and they settled agreeing to give anyone affected a $25 gift card for their website. As if anyone with effed up skin from their healing cream would ever trust their products again. LAME.
holyyyyy...!!! corticosteroids are some of the harshest drugs out there, both in their effects and in the rebound effects of dropping them. I wish "company credit" or giftcards were ineligible to be used in a settlement.
Horrible 💀💀 reminds me of a similar case with a formerly famous protein supplement brand. This poor MMA fighter took a brand deal with them and was using their protein powder as he trained for the biggest fight of his career. That poor man FAILED the drug test and everything was ruined. He cleared his name by getting tests of the product and proving they'd added testosterone to it 💀💀☝️ hence why his and other had gained all the muscle. Cleared his name as he got his fight licence back. But his career never recovered 😪🥲🥲 His sacrifice was a pivotal point in the fight for better regulation and inspection though

I see an eye doc due to an autoimmune condition, and on my first visit she asked me if I used a lash growth serum (I wasn’t). She wanted to make sure I wasn’t making my problems worse, and she warned me never to use these products over the counter because of the awful effects she’s seen in her patients. Consider me staying the hell away!! 🙅🏻♀️
So I've actually been a cosmetic chemist for about 2 years now, and there are a lot of sketchy practices that go on in dodgy labs, and this is one of them. So when a company makes a claim that a product does something, automatically it becomes an OTC product and the lab needs to be equipped to be an OTC lab aswell as the production warehouse, that usually involves a lot of money and stricter regulation. So to skirt around this companies will say it "helps" or "may/can aid" to avoid doing claims testing. Also companies can formulate with as much of the ingredient as legally possible without having to call it an OTC product. For example, salicylic acid needs to be formulated at less than 2% before being called an OTC and having to do claims testing, well companies will formulate with 1.99% salicylic acid in their formulas to avoid having to adhere to stricter regulations. And I'm sure something similar was happening in this case, they formulated just right below the regulated amount but it's still enough to cause effects.
Rapidlash actually changed their formula to remove prostaglandin from their ingredients after this lawsuit, with instead other hair conditioning such as biotin etc, it now acts more as a conditioner to help your lashes grow than a lash growth serum itself. Results are slower compared to the others but I actually found it great to use while recovering from eyelash extension damage

Same! Or the darkening/color change or the irises that will be permanent. My eye color is one of my best traits! No way I’m going to risk messing that up. I’m lucky that I have naturally long full lashes but you know how it is. When you constantly see insta baddies and celebrity adverts for products on TV it’s hard to think you don’t have something wrong with you that you need to improve. If I ever want lashes that are longer and darker than my natural lashes. I just get eyelash extensions or a lash lift and tint and it does the job. I do have a tip for longer, stronger, eyelashes though. 100% pure castor oil. Ulta carries an amazing brand of castor oil from a black owned company called Kreyol Essence and I SWEAR by their product. Nothing makes my eyelashes or eyebrows grow like castor oil does. It’s an amazing natural alternative to thes crazy lash serums that can have devastating effects.
Thankfully I don't need these lash serums but if I did I wouldn't want to use them for the reasons you and many others have started. But there's also another reason. If you notice those who use these serums their lashes grow in straight and in many cases the hairs will start to criss-cross ea other. Given it that wirey look. Their lashes may be long and thick but now they're left with having to find a way to keep their lashes curled and separated. After watching a few creators who use these serums I've gotten good at noticing who's using one without letting their subs know. Yeah, it's that noticable...

right? my undereyes have gotten more sunken and that is hard af to hide with makeup, falsies or mascara is a super easy solution to thin eyelashes by contrast
I used GrandeLash (a similar product with the same ingredient) for like 6 months. My lashes did grow but I got slight red discoloration on my eyelids and I lost some fat around my eyelid area too. Luckily as soon as I stopped using it everything slowly went back to normal, but it may not be the same for everyone so it’s best to not take that risk in my opinion. I appreciate my short lashes more than ever now lol!
Yeah I had the same issue with it darkening my lid. It happened in only 4 or 5 uses of the product too. Pretty much stopped using it immediately I'm happy enough with my lashes I'd rather have normal colored eyelids lol

My mom has glaucoma and I remember her eye lashes being very long and beautiful while on the medication. Later it became marketed for cosmetic purposes, but I would be leery of it due do the potential changes to your eye pressure, it can be dangerous to mess with. AbbVie is a sketchy pharmaceutical company (which ones aren’t really), there are so many drugs the FDA approves that have no business being taken but it’s all about the almighty dollar.
Just be hella careful as to not get it inside ur eye and ull be fine. Im talking about the prescription eyelash enhancers not the MLM snakeoil lol lastisse or w/e its called is safe to us IF you use it as prescribed. HOWEVER, this is precisely why so many of us have refused the cvid jab... its like ppl didnt learn a damn thing from Thalidomide and the HIV vaccines 🙄 I hate to break it to ppl but the government, FDA, CDC, WHO, drug manufacturers etc dont give to fcks about you and theyre all in bed together... its no coincidence that Fauci owns a portion of Moderna & J&J stock. Paralegal here, their response to the lawsuit was definitely written by their lawyers. They would naturally deny responsibility & put any blame on the consumers' potential misuse. Class action lawsuits can indeed take years, but keep in mind the delays covid lockdowns might have caused this. This is actually pretty quick. A judge will have to agree to the settlement. They very well might not agree with the "credit" part & require that as an option. Who'd want to buy of their stuff if they're in the lawsuit?! Hell no!

I’d advise everyone against all lash lengthening serums that have bematoprost like lattise, they’re bad for eye health, cause fat shrinkage, suffocate oil glands and can cause droopy eye and eyelids area. Wish someone told me. Do your research. Serums that depends on enzymes are said to not cause issues but at this point i’m not willing to use any.
Bimatoprost is also known as Lumigan which is used to treat glaucoma. It is not bad for eye health. I work in ophthalmology and 90% of our patients take this medication daily.

Thanks for this thorough 'look' at R&F and other lash serums. As an expat Kiwi who's resided in the US for 16 years, if something isn't FDA approved, I generally steer clear. Even then, with most products, I use commonsense. Unfortunately, direct-to-consumer marketing has gotten so dumbed down, in part by the fear of lawsuits, that it can be difficult for the average person to make an informed choice. Also, there's no regulation over cosmetics and personal care products, and I feel like MLM's, in particular, exploit this loophole to their advantage.

I'm working on a skincare video where I talk about this product but basically for $12, it is not only making my lashes longer but my brow hairs are starting to grow back too! Haven't had brow hairs there in 20 years! 🙌 I have more brow hairs in my mid 30s than my late teens lol 😂
I had the same problem. It took me 3 months of no plucking to get my brows back. I used to have great eyebrows until I got an eyebrow wax and was left with such thin strips lol I kept it that way because I hate little eyebrow hairs when they grow out but after I quit my last job I was able to take time to grow them back out
I just subed to your channel and will be checking out that video! I'm 34 and already had sparce, blonde eyebrows on very fair-skin when the whole 90s overlooked thing was big. My mom just painted hers on, still does, lol. I've never been able to get it to look right. I am finally starting to hsve some regrowth after only getting 3 waxes in the last 6 years! I will have to check out no 7s brow and lash serum!

I am hesitant about lash boost serums because of the pigmentation side effect. I have Hazel eyes, I like my hazel eyes and don't want them to permanently turn brown
I've used Rodan & Fields Lash Boost for the past 5 years. I have VERY sensitive skin & I have never had any issues whatsoever. LATISSE on the other hand definitely gave me painful bumps in the lash line & darkened my eye lids! I think too (being a former makeup artist) we should understand that ANY products you apply around your eyes produce risks. Product creeps up toward the eyes after application so if you're sloppily applying something that close to your eye it can creep into your eyes where irritation is bound to occur. I have been thoroughly happy with R+F & will continue to use. Great video !!!
Glad you mentioned the Younique mascara. I had it once. After having some of those fibers fall in my eyes TWICE, I pitched the whole thing. Thankfully, they rinsed right out, but it was NOT worth an eye infection.
I've been using the Grande lash serum for a couple years now and I love it. I get compliments on my lashes pretty consistently since I started using it, and I can definitely see a huge difference. I've also never had any side effects from it, other than when I started to use it there was like a dark line above my lashes, but once I started using eye cream then putting on the serum, that went away and it hasn't been an issue since.
I have been using it too for about 6 months. No side effects, unless I get it in my eyes on accident. Then I get burning that goes away as soon as I rinse my eyes.
I've been using it for months and I hear a lot of people complaining about their eyelid getting red or discolored but I never noticed it. My eyelids are already red purplish and veiny so it's probably because my natural discoloration can't get any worse😂
Same. I’ve used it since it was available at Sephora and the only side effect I noticed was a pinkish line along my top lash line, which went away after a month. People are always commenting on how long my lashes are and I don’t lose them as frequently as I used to.

I used Latisse for a few months. The results were ridiculously good. My eyelashes could touch my eyebrows if I curled them. It was so extreme, I stopped using it. I tried to start it again about a year later, but I had side effects I hadn’t had before. My eyelids became extremely dark and red and itched constantly. I stopped it after only about 1 week. Around 1 year later, I went to a R&F party thrown by a friend. I generally avoid MLMs, but like I said, she was a friend. The upper level person who had gotten her into R&F was there. They sold me on a starter kit of a skincare line for hyperpigmentation. The upper level person really pushed me to pay for this membership that would mean I got discounts and free shipping on future purchases without explaining that I would be stuck getting automatic shipments of that skincare line every month and they would be really hard to cancel. I had a horrible allergic reaction to the sunscreen in the skincare kit. Really unusual for me, because I don’t have sensitive skin. My whole face and neck broke out and then peeled. I also bought the Lash Boost, because they were selling it for 50% off if you signed up for one of those memberships at the time. It did work OK for me, without any side effects, I just didn’t have the crazy long lashes like I did with Latisse. I really only stopped using it, because I didn’t want to deal with R&F. I can guarantee you that no one with R&F ever mentioned any possible side effects to me. The doctor who prescribed the Latisse went over them in detail. I did get an email last week about the lawsuit and settlement over Lash Boost. I ignored it. I don’t think I still have any proof of purchase, and I didn’t have any side effects. I do wish only the best for those that were affected by side effects.
Use a debit card for recurring purchases, and if you can't get them to stop stealing your money, just get a NEW debit card and cut up the old one. That should do it.
My mom has glaucoma and the actual eyedrop version of this makes my moms lashes long on the eye she uses it on. She said wayyyy before this came out that someone would capitalize on that side effect
OMG I tried this exact R+F lash product for months. It does work but it messed with my vision and it was a bit itchy irritating, IMO and personal experience.
@@zitawalters9991 Try Careprost instead. The growth effects seem to come in slower but I haven’t a single negative side effect with it. And best of all it doesn’t come from an MLM
I was skeptical of the lash serum from etude house, and if I'm honest a bit loathe to promote it because it's so often out of stock already, but it has beautifully filled out my lashes with consistent use! It's not in any way as dramatic as latisse and its dupes of course, but also doesn't come with their concerning side effects
I use that one under mascara and love it! It’s like a lash conditioner so no crazy growth but it really helps maintaining my lash perm. I’ve also just started using the Silly George lash serum at night but it’s too early to tell.
I hate to even say this but I USED to sell this stuff. I remember the company coming down on us HARD at one point to only say fuller “looking”, darker “looking” lashes, etc. they really really pushed hard that we couldn’t say anything except these certain words/verbiage. Must’ve been when this lawsuit was going on LOL. I no longer sell, but lash boost worked for me so much, I’d still repurchase! I think the other skincare is way over priced 😳

Yes that makes me cringe so much, like if I just get one of my own eyelashes in my eye it drives me nuts, it happens often so I avoid fiber mascaras (so I don't have a fuzz - encrusted lash getting in there) I can only imagine how horrible this product would be! It would probably like getting trimmings of thick plastic doll hair or carpet fuzz in the eye 👁️🤢🤮🤮🤮
This doesn't surprise me. I had a friend use Proactive years ago. She had a HORRIBLE reaction to the products. Her face started burning at work and got super red. When she couldn't get it to stop she called the company and they informed her there was ingredient in their products that most people are allergic too. The only thing they told her to do was to put cold was cloths on her face help the burning. 🤦♀️

Ugh I hated Proactive, it made my skin so much worse. When I called about it they tried to upsell me to their "Advanced" line. I stopped using it and my face cleared right up. I thought it was "purging" but that wasn't the case. I did some digging and found it i was one of the many people that can't use that product. I was shocked at how many people's skin ended up worse until they stopped using the product. I used it for 3 months

Fun too: I use Aloe and castor oil on my lashes. It doesn’t make them grow, but it conditions them, thus preventing breakage and allowing them to grow thicker.
I bought it in 2018 too and used it twice. Both times I woke up with my eyes practically glued together and just thought maybe it was allergies. I have never been more thankful to have had a reaction to a product because it turned me off from using these lash serums.
After stopping getting my lashes done with extensions, I used Babe Lash and it really helped. Like about a year later I got a set of Babe Lash’s Serum & Conditioner in a sub box and THIS time after using it usually nightly for about 2 weeks(only the serum) I noticed I was getting a weird white/milky looking band along my lash line!!! I tried to see if it was like a mold or something. It wasn’t gooey and when I washed and scrubbed it nothing helped. I immediately stopped. Lol. It’s pretty crazy that the ad that just popped up during this video IS FOR SOME GENERIC LASH SERUM!!! Like how does RU-vid do that? So crazy!
I use oil, hear me out. I use jade rollers and I use oil (small amount of it) so that it can glide through my face better. Once I am done with my face, I use the roller on my eyelids and beneath my eyes and that alone has helped me tremendously in hair growth. From what I’ve monitored, my facial hair has not grown but somehow my lashes (both upper and lower) and my eyebrows have become healthier, thicker and longer. The difference is amazing. It’s kind of a gradual process, 1 that I was not aiming for, so I was very happy when I finally started to notice what it has done for me. I think that all our eyelashes and brows need is a bit of love and care and they can do the rest by themselves.
My grandma always told me if you want longer lashes just keep the eye moisturized you don't need the fancy stuff just a gentle lotion and coconut oil warm compression so a heated towel and that's it, might take time but it's the safest way her and her sister done it
I have some serious eye issues. One of those is glaucoma. I take two different types of eye drops twice a day to control it. Glaucoma is when there is too much pressure from the fluid that is inside the eye. If the pressure gets too high, it can damage nerves and cause blindness. The disadvantage of these is they are harsh chemicals and they can cause dry eyes, make you feel like you've got an eyelash in your eye, and give you headaches. There is one small plus. They make your eyelashes grow long and thick. That's obviously because when you put the drops in, they get on your eyelashes too. I have quite long eyelashes, which are fairly thick and I don't need much mascara. I remember joking with my eye surgeon one day and saying, "oh maybe I should put some of this stuff on my eyebrows to get them to grow better". I then asked him about the eyelash enhancing products that had come out. He told me they were dangerous because they use some of the same chemicals that are in glaucoma eye medication. He said in his opinion, they should not be allowed to be on the market because they can affect vision. They will inevitably be absorbed into your system, and if you don't suffer from glaucoma, then it's not something you want in your system or to get in your eyes at all. If it gets in your eyes, it could lower the eye pressure which again, is dangerous and can affect vision seriously. I guess if you used it every day, that might happen. Who knows? But my eye surgeon was not a guy to say this sort of stuff lightly. So I for sure would never use the stuff and I would never recommend a friend to use it.
Problem with Latisse is that the rate of side effects is really high (60% and above). So at least half the people who use it will have side effects of some type. I had about 3-4 of them myself.
God! MLM businesses are a big red flag and I stay far away. I had a classmate try to get me to sign up to “work” for their company. But it screamed MLM to me and I was like “no thanks.” She told me “if you’re worried about it being MLM, don’t worry! It’s not!” 😂

There was a big thing in the Netherlands about lash serums. The super lash serum form Kruidvat contained bimatoprost. This is an actual eye medication with side effect longer lashes. It can also discolor the Iris and lead to irritations. The serum got recalled
I’m another Careprost user, I’ve used it for years. I have noticed my upper eyelid might be a smidge darker along the lash line, but I’m so fair that it could be attributed to anything from age to allergies. It’s literally one drop between the two eyes, so far so good.
Me too! I started using it years ago but aside from a week of my eye being teensy bit itchy ...I'm allergic to air so I wasn't that worried lol it sent beautifully. No mascara needed after 8 weeks at all and once they were long enough without looking stupid I switched to every other day and they maintained great. Didn't do anything for my overolucked eyebrows though and i tried so so hard lol
I used RapidLash serum (both for eyelashes and eyebrows). It has a different active and worked great without any irritation. BUT for these serums it is important to remember that the effect is not permanent and you have to keep using it to maintain the growth, otherwise the lashes just return to their standard growth pattern. I was too lazy for this and gave up. :D
I was diagnosed with glaucoma end of 2020. Put on these eye drops. Was warned about the eyelashes growing but not about the undereye fat shrinking. My work mate knew about the cosmetic use of the drops. Am booked into have trough fillers for the first time later this month...it has aged me so much but unfortunately I can't stop the eyesdrops.

The prostaglandin analogs that are in over the counter lash products can not only cause irritation, but it can also cause fat loss in the orbital fat pad, which causes the eye to have an aged , sunken in appearance. These products can really make the eye area appear much older, especially if you already have deep set eyes.
I used to work in skincare at Sephora, and a few years ago I gave my mom grandelash to regrow her lashes after having basically none after undergoing chemo 10 years ago. Best gift I ever got her. Every time I see her she points to her lashes and says “look how long they are!” She had been really upset when she realized they weren’t going to come back like she had them before cancer, and it may be silly but this was life changing for her and her confidence. Of course be careful with which brand you use and double check ingredients but I absolutely recommend lash serums if you’re aware of the side effects and accept you may be trading discoloration for lashes
It isn't just discoloration though!!! It can and will make visibly age you and make you lose a ton of fat around your eyes which makes you look sunken and old and ugly.
I just saw one of these lash serums at Dollar Tree yesterday and wondered if it would change your eye print for rental scans and such. My husband thought I was crazy that a lash serum could change your actual eye so much. I'll have to make him watch this. These are always such well done videos. I love them. ♥️
I've actually gotten Rodan and Fields lash boost twice and it really worked with me with no irritation. People constantly commented about my lashes, but of course not everything works with everybody. I only stopped using it because it's so expensive.
I haven’t used any lash serums and thank god because I have sensitive eyes. I do remember, however, using Younique’s first go round with fiber lash mascara and got a stye twice that took 2.5 years to go away. Stopped using it immediately.

I'm glad you've done this video to draw much needed attention to eyelash serums. Last year I used Lashes UK and it made the rims of my eyes red and itchy. I'm off eyelash serums after that experience.

What are your thoughts on oil cleansing for 30 minutes straight? I've been trying the new Benton lash serum to review and I've seen a significant difference in my lashes!! I've never used one before so it's luckily been a good experience, unlike the people from the lawsuit in your vid 😨😨

If they don't pay those poor people, but give them money to buy products of theirs, I'd be absolutely floored lol. I know some people who swear by Baby Lash? I think. I've tried Liason. It was pretty decent for brows and eyelashes. I do get my brows laminated and the girl I go to always laughs at my skins reaction. She's like you forgot to stop your retinol again and I'm like yep sorry. 😂🙊 I love lamination though.
i use a Korean lash serum every once in awhile, from the brand Rire. it’s basically a peptide black soy bean serum with urea in it as well in small quantities to help moisturize. it doesn’t seem like something that could combat hair regrowth after cancer or any autoimmune disease, but it’s a simpler less expensive alternative to something like the Grande lash serum. I personally love it so much and have gotten comments on how much thicker my lashes look after i use it for a week straight, highly recommend 👌🏻👍🏻
I’ve been using GrandeLash Md for about 7 months on and off. I usually do 1 week on 1 week off or so. My lashes are SIGNIFICANTLY longer. I get darkening of the lids occasionally, but it goes away. Im a blonde who is allergic to lash glue, so if I want pretty lashes it’s this + mascara or lash lifts and dye. It’s vain, I know. But sometimes it just helps the self esteem to not look like a Victorian child 🤧
