I'm with you on the musical growth as well. This channel has made me much more of a deep listener and has expanded my horizons. We're all on this musical journey together which makes it even more fun. As far as the nomenclature goes: hard rock may not be very complicated and rather straight forward approach. Songs usually clock in at 3 to 5 minutes maybe a little longer. Prog rock/metal is usually more complicated musically with movements or 'motifs' within the song and time signature changes. Even key signature changes (what key -Em, C, F# for example- the song or section is in) So hard rock- Scorpions, Prog Rock- Rush, Prog Metal- Queensryche as examples. I can totally see these guys as prog metal. I hope that makes sense!

@@BemusingBill I also hear big differences in the guitar riffs. The riffs in prog metal tend to sound, well, like metal riffs (deep, palm-muted chugs/gallops) where in hard rock the riffs sound more conventional. I also hear double bass drumming which is rare in hard rock.

However, I don't care for 'who does it best'. That's a subjective opinion and everybody has their own opinion. If I do this you know very well there will be those who will say, Dolly's version is still the best or Whitney blows them both away. Let me ask you this: you believe Judika does the best version in your opinion, right? So, does it matter what my opinion is? I would much rather react to a video of Judika all by himself, honestly.

@@BemusingBill I actually had a hard time deciding which of these two singers sang this song the best.This is the reason why i wanted to hear your opinion as to which version is your favourite of the two singers(Judika or Erik Gronwall).I respect your opinion.However, i just think it would be fun to compare and contrast the various aspects of thier voices and also their vocal ability and style of performing.You could also look at the things that they both have in common.My intention is not to put down anyone.I have seen other channels do comparison videos.These channels respectfully share their opinions on both singers without offending others and without causing any infighting in the comments section.
