We took off from Winder and flight straight out, directly west towards gwinett county airport. As usual we came across a busy airspace and a grumpy tower trying to get everybody down safe.
We were number 5 to land on runway 7.

I don't think he was yelling at you for talking to much. He was working several aircraft in the pattern and had just told an aircraft to hold short of the active runway. Then, before the aircraft he told to hold short of the active runway answered, you transmitted. So, I think he was asking everyone to give the person he is talking to time to answer before transmitting. With runway incursions being a hot topic he wanted to hear the aircraft read back they were holding short of the runway.

When the tower gives another aircraft an instruction, you have to wait to make any calls until that aircraft answers ATC. Think of it as a conversation happening between 5 people. And never, ever call the controller a name on freq. You’re lucky you didn’t get a phone number to call.

Good Flight Mike but you gotta remember a good pilot is the one that has trust in his ability to intervene at a right time when things go wrong. You were a bit micro-managing and that can have a negative impact on the other person you flying with.

Beautiful landing! Also calling out you have the traffic that tower called out isn’t a foul. It seems like the Gwinnett controller is very ornery in all your videos. I’ve never flown into Gwinnett but maybe I should come see for myself next time I’m in the area.

My experience flying in a busy controlled airport up here in NYC area is that you only call out traffic if the tower asks you to report/confirm that you have traffic in sight.

The plane is a terrible example of a TSI. Early model portly built and it’s been repaired from damage which is enough to spook someone

Tower controller sounded like he was in a bad mood before you got to talk to him. Sounded like he had just gotten done balling out another pilot.

First, I dont know why you keep posting these videos that are trying to oppose ATC to pilots and in your case GA pilot. If you keep having difficulties with ATC maybe you should look at what you are doing. Second, he didn't yell at you at all and he's 100% right, you didn't have to talk at all. He was busy but professionnal all the way unlike you calling him "daddy" just for doing his job and giving you a good tip for next time to keep the frequency clean.
