@@oskary2833 Almost wish WT would make some sort of classic MM mode, I'd wait 10 mins a match for some korean war action. I didn't have a CL or a 17 during those times, and it was still a lot of fun (the F-2 was still a useful plane).

We got a city map in air rb that not much people fight in the city,because all people scare to crash on building

Had some awesome chases through the city streets. Imagine a grand canyon map for air RB Or complete mountain map like Afghanistan without the flat part Or the arcade "alps?" map

IRL, the Sabre was actually condemned for being a Difficult to control aircraft, as the controls were either stiff, jerky, or too loose. ...In fact, most of the Sabre crashes were due more to faults in the Sabre, than pilot error.

@@ILikeTuwtles it has 2 of them, other planes (for instance both G.91 R/4s) are 8.7 with 4 9-Bs and the A4-E early is also 8.7 with 2. But I guess it does well enough at the BR

The map is terrible for high tier jets. It's simply too small. Planes like the Su-17 can just quickly rush the airfield while the enemy fighters are just taking off.

@@mayonotes9849 True, I had a match where we just took off and an Su-7 on the enemy team was strafing some people on our airfield who were still taking off because they spawned in late

Maps cool and all but its too small for top tier, wish there was a bigger version of this map.

Almost like in movies of planes, maneuvering through small cliffs and all.

@@anden9967 I game from couch on my PC, I have keyboard on my lap and mouse on a leather lid of a storage ottoman covered by mousepad. Compact and easy to store away when not in use. I think PS5 has wireless keyboards and mouses for it? I'd get those and upgrade to almost PC levels of gaming.

I use PS4 Dualshock only. Don’t worry about not having enough buttons, you can use two or more buttons for bindings. I’d recommend small things or things that you use often as being single press controls, and more complex stuff as being where you make double button bindings. I personally use the multi-function menu on aircraft a lot and that allows me to have more bindings for things that I need to be quick to use or switch to. Admittedly, I use double-bindings for lots of things like firing secondary weaponry, and use single button presses for controls, guns, and radar lock. Just try to set up controls that work for you and practice with em. It may take more effort, but I don’t think I could be as effective for most things that I do in WT if I was on a keyboard.

I mean, as much as I'm nostalgic for those days lets not pretend it was balanced. CL-13 + MiG-17 curb stomped F-2 Sabres and F.1 Hunters, and the only thing that could realistically challenge a CL-13 was a good MiG-17 pilot

Well...not really. Whoever was the fastest usually won, because you could just extend away indefinitely and no one could do anything about it. Fighting CL-13's was a drag as they'd just keep extending, loop up and around, and pass again - jet matches were often just an initial furball followed by lines of planes trailing after each other. On top of this, everything from 8.0-8.7(granted there were no 8.3's and 8.7's) was totally useless. Any jet at 8.0 was practically unplayable.

Not sure what you remember, but that shit was not balanced. The CL-13 outperformed the F-2 in every way. Which helped it gets it's 80+% WR. That aircraft made playing any American Sabre, especially the A-5 hell.

and it was an arcade map, pretty cool until you get clapped by a guy who knows how to airspawn in that map

@@hooparom7430 Literally just wait for the spawn timer to go away for spawning on the AF and a little bit of extra time, and then just select the airspawn to spawn at. I’ve been trying to spread the word, but most people don’t pay enough attention.
