Mike, do you ever get bored doing any of your challenges? As in, do you ever just think "I just want to be done with this one. I swear, I'm never doing another one like this ever again!"?

YES! But not with this one. The dice stacking one was quite painful....

I personally really enjoy figuring out a new twisty puzzle. I always try to do it without looking things up online, but I do cheat sometimes. Parity algorithms are a pain to figure out... (Imagine me staring at my unsolved 4x4x4 here) I might give the 5x5x5 a try, but my favourites are probably the shapeshifting ones like a 5x3x3. I also recently got a redi cube to try and teach other people, since it's a pretty easy one.

Hey man could you try a 4 by 4? They are much harder than a 3 by 3 and quite different from the 5 by 5. 4 by 4s do not have a fixed center, so you must make the centers. If you are going to try it, good luck!
@dubbdesw4501
@dubbdesw4501 5 лет назад
Not having a fixed center dosn't make the solve harder. The steps for solving the 4 by 4 are quite similiar to the 5 by 5. You just need to memorize the color scheme of a cube so the centers are in the right place.

+parity
@feltyfurr442
@feltyfurr442 5 лет назад
Fire, learning the 4x4 is a good way to learn 5x5 from what I know. Knowing the edge and centers of 4x4 was probably my biggest help in the 5x5.
@TheWoolyWolf
@TheWoolyWolf 5 лет назад
square one is pretty challenging and the parity is also pretty long i'd say square one> 4x4 or 5x5 in difficulty
@pablodv87
@pablodv87 5 лет назад
@@dubbdesw4501 Not having a fixed center does make the solve harder, because you also don't have the center edge, and can assemble the "equivalent" edge pieces rotated, which adds extra cases to the final reduced 3x3x3 that don't show up on a normal cube and have to be solved with special algorithms (that's what others here are calling "parity")
