To be fair, there HAVE been a lot of people shot by "unloaded" guns. "Unloaded" meaning they THOUGHT the gun was unloaded. That's why the first rule is treat all guns as if they're loaded, all the time.
I think that's what she was referring to, *thinking* it was unloaded. unless you are very not okay in the head you could not do confidently say "people have been hurt by things that didnt even exist"

Gosh... I frequently state that majority of accidents seem to occur with “unloaded” guns. I use this to clarify one of the reasons I insist on handling a gun as though it is loaded. Far too often someone gets shot and everyone says they ‘knew’ it was unloaded. No a gun cannot fire without being loaded - but even if I’ve personally checked it I avoid letting it point at anyone.

I can understand a 7 magazine clip, but nobody needs 30 magazines per clip! Damn, if you had a 30 magazine clip and you were firing in fully semi automatic mode, that’s like, 100 clips per nanosecond!! It would easily and certainly kill everyone in a 10 rpm radius!!
Ight so I did the math, 30 bullets in half a second is about 3600 rounds per minute...which is in the grounds of how fast your typical standard issue widely available civilian m134 minigun fires...

To be perfectly honest I don’t fully disagree with the first guy. A shotgun is great for home defense very close range wide spread. And the sound of cocking it alone has been known to scare off intruders. However if you prefer to own an A.R. 15 for home defense or whatever other reason that is your right to.

Rehash, think I saw all these 5 yrs ago. TBH, I think many of the antigunners in the spotlight have learned, or have someone behind them providing them with pertinent information, these days so they don't sound so ridiculous. Ok I’ve seen the unloaded gun clip on two videos now and it’s stupid because she’s referring to a firearm’s safety saying, not saying people have literally been shot with an unloaded gun. I feel like this is a strawman, to show that clip, so i don’t support that.
I would have a least an ear for them if they would do something as SIMPLE as take a day or two to go hit a local gun range, spend a few hours with an instructor just saying "Teach me about these things". Learning the differences between automatic and semi automatic (and learning Full semi automatic is a made up term), the size of the gun doesn't mean a smaller or bigger round, find out if it takes longer to shoot 30 aimed shots from one clip as compared to 30 aimed shots from 3 separate clips. and just other basic facts...because anyone who thinks they can shoot 30 rounds in half a second from a semi auto gun like the last guy here said, LITERALLY is saying that they can move their finger back and forth a inch or so, pulling a metal trigger 30 TIMES IN HALF A SECOND. Try that! Try just right clicking your mouse 30 times in 1/2 a second bc I bet you can click that faster than you can pull a trigger...and you won't even get 1/2 way to that with your mouse !!!
