The MLB ending the international relations thing as it stands is indeed overall bad because the real goal of the teams working together was data/resource sharing. Ever since these deals got into place, NPB has drastically raised its talent floor across the league. The purpose of the redaction doesn't at all address any of the tampering issues/concerns. As you mentioned though, there is a potential positive. I hope that MLB will make a framework that allows these partnerships again, but more clearly outlines how teams and players can interact with each other (such as clearly limiting what counts as an acceptable gift). Because if it's just left as is right now, nothing is really stopping the tampering.

On the day Odor Left, the word "浅草観光"(Asakusa tourism) became a trend in Japanese X, which clearly tells that even after 20 years, Dan Miceli is still not forgiven. And those foreign players who failed to appeal is not welcomed even as normal tourists. Also, I feel sorry that Ramos had to leave, too. Hope DeNA gets him.

Ramos deserved a spot on the 70 man for sure. Unfortunately the rules dictate that he is not allowed to sign with any other NPB team for this season. He’ll be going to an MLB org.

Is there anywhere online that I can actually watch NPB games? Or at the very least, watch highlights of certain games?

Yes to both. If you don't know Japanese though, it can be a bit rough. I am subscribed to team channels and the league channels, they offer highlights. You can also pay for pacific league sub and a central league sub for streaming I believe, probably from their websites or something.

You can DAZN Japan. You may need a VPN but it’s only 2300 yen per month and you can watch all NPB games live.

I say this as a Japanese, using a VPN is the quickest way to see it. However, in the case of the Central League, you still can't watch all the games. I recommend you to become a fan of the Pacific League!

If u want to watch highlights, just search up the name of said team and it should come up! For the live games I recommend Pacific League TV which isn’t region locked unless you’re in Europe.
