Welcome to another season of NFL football. This will mean many things: A boon for the parking lot and alcohol industries. A sudden thud for a few teams that thought they had hope to start the year. And finally, a long series of rambling videos known as Sportsball. It's my sixth year of doing this (somehow). I didn't know if I was going to keep going after the first year. Stranger things have happened, I guess.
Speaking of strange things, the NFL in Week One was one of these situations. What kind of madness ensued? This video will explain everything (except for one game, which I will save for later)

Broncos fan here... Hackett blew this game and possibly the next few games by not getting any preseason for their starters, not using russ the right way (he's supposed to be good at running and deep balls, right?) not taking risks, and not using the fucking recievers in the first half. man this is looking like Vance Joseph 2.0, can't wait for us to start games with onsides kicks soon

So happy for this weekly recap, it always puts a smile on my face. Feedback regarding the Hot Pockets on INTs; maybe not for every one? I think it would work best if it was part of a rotation of two or three other sound effects.

Thanks Tree for creating all of these videos to make me love football. However, for this video, the "Hot Pocket" sound effect really cuts off some sentences. It is hard to hear some great sentences you said due to getting cut off... Keep up the work!

I like the sound effects although I do think the hot pockets effect was a bit strange. I know there really isn't a good turnover sound effect but the oven ding works pretty well. My favorite is the "Sonic lost his rings" effect when a fumble happens. Glad to have another season of sportsball Tree and glad you are doing well.

As a Hawks fan that loved Russ in his first couple years, the LoB was the main reason we were so good, not Russ. Marshawn Lynch was more important to our team than Wilson. Then to say he wanted to stay in Seattle forever, only to leave because we wouldn’t use him the way he wanted, just left a bad taste in all of our mouths. When he retires he’ll raise the 12 flag most likely, but when the LoB doesn’t like the guy, the fanbase doesn’t really either.

I’m thinking “Drive to Survive” could be an apt name for the special Broncos segments, given their incompetence in that regard if that first game is any indication & the fact that an F1 driver (Lewis Hamilton) is part of the consortium that owns the Broncos. And they definitely bungled that game as hard as Ferrari have bungled their championship hopes over the last few years.
