Looks terrific, when you gonna do some seasonal game recipes? Wood pigeon is so in season right now and people don't know about how good it is, takes minutes to cook and tastes beautiful, flying steak.

French cuisine with english influences. Fits perfect. I know about red cabbage in rich dishes from my dad. He sometimes make his nanny´s hotpot where he put some red cabbage on top. I really like how u rattle trough your recipies. Everybody can remake ur dishes.

So many questions. Why no deglazing the pan? Why cook the bacon separately? Why not use the bacon fat to cook the beef?

i liked the bit where you forgot the tomato puree in one of the takes and got some nice pick ups later with said puree...I wonder was the final dish with or without puree...?

Chef, it looks smashing, of course I made my own beef Bourguignone many times before. It is one of the classics from Escoffier. But really, why did you use pickled pearl onions instead of the fresh ones? for the rest of the ingredients, top notch! that sandwich as is, a tenner all the time. Stop smoking (cough, cough)… Love your channel.

Looks GREAT, onions good, mushrooms toasted not fried GREAT, but adding flour is doing nothing to the flavour other than adding burnt flour taste, detracting from the flavours of and interfering with the Maillard reaction.... It does however obviously contribute a thicken effect. Perhaps Black Garlic in place of normal would give an interesting and special variation... Keep up the great show :)

I've been cooking for most of my adult life but a few years ago I decided to cook some of the more worldly meals and the first one I cooked was Julia Childs Beef Bourgignon. Best meal ever! Your burger would be the best burger ever!

im from boro so id pay £3-4 for that. if i bought it in a big place like london id be happy to get it for £5-6. would pay £8 if it came with a side and drink.

Looks good---though the title had me thinking this would be a proper burger topped with the signature stewed beef and such for a contrasting, multiplicative experience not unlike how shaved bbq brisket burgers are a wonderful thing that thankfully exist.

I´m not a toss & he himself is not international - he´s English in England, so my point is valid. The channel may well be international but that´s no reason to lever in American English now is it??? The pearl onions carmelize that way and added like you did is Bilbo finding the ring from Gollum or even Frodo dumping it in the fire game changer JQ! As always! They serve it in Valinor BTW.
