Can we all agree magic needs a combative buff? Like the attack spells need buffed and there needs to be better combative magic use. Maybe like new staves such as a combative staff and a utility staff, so ones better for quick combat casting and ones better for slow utility casting
It's useful for multiplayer as for solo you can do rerolls for every single perk. It's time consuming because you need to level up thrall to level 9 and keep him 1 or 2 kills away from lvl 10. Do a backup of your map and try gettting Perks that you want. If failed, load backup, kill 2 enemies, see if he got something nice if not load backup and repeat.
Can't wait to see more about spells and those new crafting stations. I'm really happy how this update is turning out with pretty cool animations... The decaying thrall animation was awesome !

The fact it is still totally RNG dependent means I will keep using console commands to make it so that they don’t have trash perks. One could spend a literal eternity and still not get good perks, as that is how RNG is. RNG in games is not fun.
Yea what RaZ said normally I use one or two for zombies and get good perks. But it is RNG so its possible to get many bad rolls but hey its something! Ill take it over nothing any day.
Looking forward to these potions, mostly for every Human fighter who got strength reduction perks, and I also have a Greater Sabretooth that got 39 strength, or 390% melee damage without strength perks.
I understood from another source that you could reconfigure thrall perks without being a sorcerer and sacrificing other thralls. If I understand correctly from your video this is not the case and you have to become a sorcerer, at least to some extent, to be able to reconfigure thralls.
They changed so much about this game. All of these new benches and everything. Got a new feature and nerfing the thralls. That's hurtful because I'm usually playing solo. A new attribute just for thralls. This game is really making us make tough decisions now. My favorite thrall has always been *Kisthis Fleshtearer and Lian*
while thralls were nerfed somewhat (much less if you spec'd into authority), pets were un-touched and you, the player, are stronger with the perk changes
@@seanowens3153 Entirely agreed, no argument there. Same goes for Ark survival & other pve/pvp survival games. It's either pick one or develop them as two entirely separate games. (See Fortnite Save the World the pve tower defense game vs Fortnite the battle royalle game)
It would be a whole lot cooler if they kept old perks but inactive so u can pick and choose at the very least.. random perks everytime tho is just cancer trying to get the 3 u want.
From my testing no..they have to be knocked out to be sacrificed. The Grave to Zombies conversion uses inventory Tamed Thralls but only placeable thralls.
So what happens to the thralls we have now, one day the patch drops and we log in and all our thralls are again broken. Has anyone saw what it does to the thralls we have now???
Now that 3.0 has dropped, I notice all of my existing thralls/pets have 0 grit and they all show a 40 percent growth rate in grit, regardless of level. This will make them less powerful than any new thrall I developed post 3.0. That seems efffed up and means any pre-3.0 thrall development was a waste of time... Am I missing something here?
Funcom doesn't care. All they care about is who's spending money on their DLCs and game pass. They're in bed with Tencent. We all know Tencent doesn't give two hoots about the players. Don't expect Funcom to care either because they rather pain the gamer and take their cash moreover do a proper job of things. The greed wheel is well lubed and so long as people keep buying their carrot on a string BS, Funcom and Tencent have no reason to change their ways. Conan Exiles is going to fizzle hard because of greed and this is only the beginning of their attempt at milking the franchise until it becomes a flaming dumpster fire.
I'd rather have something that makes them a little more powerful altogether. I used to take my Berserker and 1v1 the Red Mother and now it's like nope.
Idk how i feel about it changing all three. With the nerf to thralls i wish we could change 1 at a time still gunna use 10-20 if not more potions PER THRALL to get a certain roll. Also will they get new perks with survival going away and being kinda pointless for thralls anyway.
Are zombies a timed thrall or permanent? I'm hella hesitant to invest into the undead thralls beca8se I was under the impression all of them are timed.
@@niakitten2937 other than certain thralls, any thrall can be tossed into a shallow grave to be turned into a zombie. the zombie's stats are dependent on the stats the thrall had while it was alive
Realistically this change doesn’t mean much. Most of my followers are between 5,000 to 7,000 health and they never even come close to losing half of that in any fight. So cutting in half isn’t going to make a difference.
I believe on a recent dev stream they said the nerfs to thralls will be applied automatically to existing thralls when you next log in after 3.0 goes live
@@seanmarquis2216 at least on the testlive teimos looked like it was like 70ish HP per Vit point instead of like 100+, so he might be closer to 6-8k but idk exact amounts
What spell are you missing? When the first stones appear, each one goes to a different "menu" which has spells or even some more "menu" selections (like, the right one has another "escalate" menu which needs 20%+ Corruption to be selected which then actually has spells behind it).
if you're talking about Firespark, the shirt and gloves look to me like Slaveforged Ceremonial pieces from the Isle of Siptah DLC illusioned over the Vanir settler pieces, and the pants I think are the Artisan's Pants from Debaucheries of Derketo DLC. The boots I'm less certain on which piece is the base, but I think the illusion is the Zingaran Freebooters from the base game. All with dyes to make them look yellow/orange-ish.

It’s annoying that when they nerf something it’s always a heavy nerf. Why make Teimos absolutely useless to get? Could have easily made all thralls similar but now he’s just a forgotten thrall that no one will bother with.
Thralls are extreme op in 3.0. My frost giant thrall can pull all npc's in New Asgard and aoe's them down in 10 sec (the whole village at once). Because all his attacks are aoe 3-9 m radius and he is freaking strong because he has all the right perks. And he kills most bosses in dungeons and world bosses without my help. There are some bosses i need to help him but thats a rare exception.
I won't even bother with companions anymore. It's not worth it. The fact that certain mounts too have been pay walled into DLC content that should have been in the base game says it all. Unless you go the linear path everyone uses to maximise efficiency, the game has become a game with little choice without experiencing serious consequences of bad decisions while levelling up your character. Not only that, but to put down a pen, you need about 5 acres of flat space just to place the thing. So many bad changes and decisions being made, but eh, it's Funcom and Tencent. They're in bed together so we know all they care about is money and they are surely milking the gamer for everything they possibly can. Once I'm done playing it through with a couple friends, I will never return to the game. The only reason I'm even finishing it is to say I've beaten the game. I couldn't play it for months and months after they patched the game about a year ago too. These are all reasons nothing is calling me back to replay it again after I'm done. USD $183.17 approximately, to get the full game experience. Yeah, not happening. Funcom will never see my business in future. These are all reasons why I don't touch any games backed by Tencent.
Sacrificing is really dark behavior. In all _traditional_ RPGs the hero would be killing the boss that did this. Oh well, guess I'll be doing this the old way.
i found minmaxing thralls pathetic, everything in the game can be beaten and earned on medium difficulty trough a t3 sepermeru fighter thrall with random perks and ancient (steel+) weapons. So this metagaming with stats and nerf and everything is just cringy.
Absolutely Horrific IMO the ability to reroll your thrall perks. That means EVERYONE is going to have god roll thralls, u just keep clicking buttons until you get it lmao. Wtf is this joke?
i personally think this update is going to completely break the game....its something that will have to be PERFECTLY balanced on first release or it will just break the game for everyone.....and i feel that its going to break it.....seems liek there making everything easy mode....like how WoW started out good then progressively got worst n worst over time by adding more "creature comforts" like LFG and LFR finders....now there making thralls basically the same thing....just need to get one....and spam roll him till u get what u like? why not just give u the ability to select the traits then at this point? I think this potion is stupid and taking away a fundamental thing that made getting thralls meaningful.....
@@shehathnoname Bad perks Thralls arent good anymore, I loved this game and let thralls do my bidding. But to each his own. They are nerved. I understand the hammer thing but it isn't great. Sorcery is a little bit meh imo not really interesting to use PVE wise. Also if u spawn horde/zombies they spawn to far away or in the rocks. I don't know I don't approve some changes. The worst is thrall nerfs and useless perks for me.
@@IkrazNL I’ve not run into a single enemy that I couldn’t kill with CB and DS. Arena champion almost surprised me but she got stunlocked by maces. Thralls can still do almost anything. My only complaint is the AI and combos. Maces are kinda mandatory due to how good the combos with maces are for thralls
The devs are woke. This is their take on sticking it to the player base who they look down on as chauvinistic. They are spiteful in my opinion and the worst mindset to be dealing with the Conan world.
They didn't turn your server off they merged it with another and gave you months of notice stop crying because you didn't heed the 1000s of warnings they gave out for actual months
