Damn what a shame...better luck next time man. I myself have some problems with the locking nut of the valve screw that got stuck while I was going a valve adjustment
i think the guy downshifted to first gear or something. it looks didnt look like over heating. looks like the camchain guide broke. it happends on many cars.
@@ianpaton5893 Right now, i cant .... i dont have money to buy another one of these :) ... (i have 50 dollars on bank account right now ) if i have some money there is one neglected for about 500 that i could do it on. :(
I bet its just a piston. Said that at the beginning of the video. But as you say, someone might have not done the timing properly on the previous service and bang. This is serious destruction. Maybe the bottom end might have even been damaged. Making the repair more expensive.
I'm into a pain in the arse here. So I've got an 04 carbed CBR project and I've changed the carb float gasket and installed a hiflo air filter. Bike starts when I use the choke but after about 5 or so seconds if I don't rev the RPMs drop and the bike stalls. I've noticed on my first Inspection after I bought it that the hose from the airbox has been snapped off and the coolant hose isn't connected to anything it's just fed down through the frame. As well as that there's a small tube coming from the bottom of the carb but I have no idea where that's supposed to go doesn't seem there's anywhere to plug it. Any help be greatly appreciated! Cheers man. Also keep up the good work.
Hello, The hiflo and even the coolant hose unplued will change you air/fuel mixture. try adjusting the idle mixture screw give it more gas and then go from there. (jets, float level, needle level) Also chech color of your spark plug. The hose on the bottom is just the drain :)
Hello, Do you think that it is caused by wear on the ring and cylinder wall, causin it to have a huge clearence and walking of a groove in the piston and braking or it is the material weaknes ? :) Have a nice day.
@@Prihoda15 piston rings expand faster than the piston and can move round or jam into the cylinder then is time before it blows up. Best to slowly warm up engines and not go full throttle for 30 minutes at least.
