Interesting thing about this song is how it relates to both the worlds of Tolkien and Lewis; Middle Earth and Narnia respectively. If anyone has read The Magicians Nephew and Silmarillion, you'll see that BOTH worlds began with singing... and the great voice of an all powerful being. Aslan with his roar, and Eluvatar with his voice. I really connect with this song because I read the Narnia books when I was very young, and the roar at the beginning of this song takes me way back to when I read how Narnia burst into existence at the roar of Aslan.
Like every child that's born to glimpse, A ray of shine in spectral mist. A thread of light that bury dark, To come exist so frail to mark. And how you are so proud and true, That time would care that glitter blue. Now in age all grown and strong, Shall brave beyond the infinite song.
Is this about a photon? It was born in the sun to glimse, it's in the spectral mist, it will bury dark, it seems kind of fragile but it is true and takes a million years to reach the sun's surfice, that's many ages for us and it's path is beyond infinite.
I might be a rock/metal person but for some reason when I listen to this genre music (especially of Thomas Bergersen) I feel more alive then I have ever felt...the music draws you to another place, a place where possibilities seems limitless...epic indeed.
I am a metalhead too! Through and through, raised on classical music, acquired taste for all sorts of metal from black to symphonic... This is basically a classical version of headbanging we do in metal...
Man, I listen to this song so many times, and it continues to leave me speechless. I feel like I'm a spirit wandering through desolate land, seeing what it once was. Thick leaves on trees that bore the sweetest fruit. Coarse grass that was once soft and green. Land that used to be alive with flowers. When I settle on a spot, I kneel down on a patch of hard soil, and in my cupped palm is a nestled orb of life, a part of my spiritual being, a breath of my life and soul. I pierce the soil with this orb and watch as tendrils spread across the land, it's light shattering the death that took over the earth. The grass grows soft and thick under me, the trees reach their limbs up to the skies, flowers bloom in orange, pink, and yellow vibrancy. Everything is new again. Everything is alive and is breathing me and I breathing it. It's astounding and I feel like crying a little
i imagine it literally as the creation of earth the silence is the beginning with the first formation of dust the lion roar is the molten elemental the vocal is the air and weather bass guitar is signs of water the violins that crescendo is first signs of life like plants the big hit is when animals and trees are being created the final lion roar is the finishing touch to the planet that symbolizes that it is earth and their is no other planet like her
Thomas Bergersen's 'Creation of Earth' is a breathtaking masterpiece that effortlessly transports listeners to a realm of awe-inspiring beauty and wonder. The orchestration is nothing short of phenomenal, creating a vivid musical landscape that captures the essence of creation itself.😇
I love the incorporation of the Lion's roar. It--and the whole song, actually-- reminds me strongly of the Chronicles of Narnia, when Aslan is creating the world. Beautiful work.
I actually think thats the Tiger's Deep purr. You know how cats purr? Well Tigers have a deeper version of it that sounds similar to the one in the song @@josephjohnston7334
This song should have more views than Gagnam Style ! More than a song, a masterpiece that can move mountains and help everyone to live a better life. Sleeping, looking at the sunset, studying, working, we can do everything while listening at this song. Mr Bergersen, you're the king of music.
Just discovered this song has an amazing secret... The bulgarian song used is called Izlel e Delio Haidutin, and it's actually one of the few songs present on the two Golden Records on the two Voyager spacecrafts, meant to be eventually found by other civilisations one day, and to represent earth... Now hearing that song echoing in this track gives me chills knowing what it represents...
@@jabymumar The industry version was replaced with one that doesn't have vocals, most likely because of this. I haven't quite understood what the issue was, it's folk song and he used a recording with a different singer. I guess it's because it sounded too similar to Valya Balkanska's version and perhaps she was the author of the way it is sung, if it makes sense... I haven't been able to find a version that is not based on hers if that's the case.
@@jabymumar Actually Valya Balkanska did not mind the song being used. She minded not being asked. She wasn't looking for profits. The problem was that Thomas actually asked the Bulgarian Ministry about who to ask for the rights and they didn't give him a straight answer. It's not as black and white as you present it.
Proud to be Bulgarian... This song is "Izlel e Delio Haidutin" and it has been sent in the Universe. Quite a good choice for a background song for this video :)
And may I know whose is it? Btw, if you have watched the news recently, you will notice that Thomas Bergerson himself got in touch with her, apologized her and is even going to pay her. He explained the situation in details ;)
Assen Andonov :))) No idea whose voice is, but here it is what she said "За първи път чувам песента в този аранжимент, в по-ниска тоналност е, това не е моя глас", коментира Валя Балканска пред БНТ."
On an Earth with no modern humans, the land is interspersed with ocean sea and forest alone. No buildings, no metal, simply vast natural beauty. Primal instinct is dominant. Across the globe life competes for survival across the ages of which none are defined. Out at sea the waves are rough or calm with no vessels to chop the water other than fins of aquatic creatures. In the sky, clouds do not follow behind metal birds, but follow the winds and the seasons. Any humanoid life that exists does so in perfect tandem with all around them. Nature is allowed to run its course and the planet is seen in all its majesty, grandeur and ferocity...
And there is no internet. You wake up from the nightmare, and rush to your PC to ensure the internet does exist. Sighing with relief, you go on porn and relax.
@@Falzelo I am. I found this album so many years ago but any time I listen to it (and especially this song) I get so overwhelmed with so many emotions it's painful to hold back (when I'm at work for example). I have goosebumps, I have a lump in my throat, my eyes are watering up and I want to scream out loud.
When I listen to things like this, it helps me think about how I've been placed in this world and how blessed I am to be in the position I'm in right now. It also helps me be more mindful of other people around the earth and how bad they have it sometimes. It really makes me realize how happy I should be
Never had a song affect me as powerfully as this one. For whatever reason this song, to me, is the closest I've ever heard to experiencing absolute beauty through sound. In particular the time 4:20-4:50. This may not be true for everyone but it is for me. I feel like I'm floating, and my eyes tear up. I'm honestly really happy this song exists.
Just my thoughts, said perfectly! 💯 This music is Truth. This music is Rage. This music is Energy. This music is Justice. But I don't know how. Just feels like it...
Thomas loves Bulgarian folklore and this song is another masterpiece which is result from fusion of modern music and mystical Bulgarian folklore. Great Thomas, great!
+Славчо Славчев Honestly dude... shut the fuck up. Thomas already apologized and credited the singer, just check the god damn description. What Thomas is doing, is making your country's folklore even more widespread and interesting for international people. Why is that such a problem? Most of your other compatriots seem to be able enjoy this song instead of being hateful pieces of shit. Why can't you?
This music is perfect. It tells the entire story of the Earth without any words. 0:00 - the universe before the Big Bang. 0:58 - The Big Bang 1:31 - The Earth is born. 2:04 - The beginning of the cell divison, the start of the evolution. 3:47 - the Earth is now inhabited by plants and animals, similar to the current wildlife. etc...
This song is incredibly powerful! I didn't quite realize it until one day, maybe two years ago, while listening to this in the background, I all of a sudden choked up, my eyes got teary and I had to let out a smile of pure joy! just thought I'd share that! : D
I get goosebumps listening to this song, simply jaw dropping. Just when i thought Thomas couldn't possibly compose a better song. The music truly matches the timeline of not only the creation of earth, but also the cosmic evolution leading up to earths creation, and on to it's demise. Stunning.
I've got to say something. My own country disappoints me. Bulgaria. I heard Thomas Bergersen contacted Bulgaria about the copyrights and he got no answer back. Thomas, if you're reading this - I am SO glad you went ahead and used what you had to use to create your masterpieces. It is only about this song in particular that you should've contacted Valya Balkanska herself, but there is absolutely no way you could've known that. The mistake is on us.
"And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light." -Genesis 1:2-3
This is my all-time favorite song to play full-blast in my car. I really love that scratchy part that begins at 2:04 and is the start of the most epic crescndo I have ever heard in a piece of music before.
Such beautiful work here - Music is an expression of ones soul - and for those of us that cannot compose and create such beauty we are lucky to have individuals that share their creation with us - Thanks for sharing Thomas Bergersen...
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--VUY6n4W1VA.html The whole song. You may already know that but it's part of the collection of songs currently on a travel beyond our solar system, onboard the golden plates on Voyager 1 & 2. The info of the lady that sings is in the title description: Opening Bulgarian vocal from Mystery of Bulgarian Voices (singer: Valya Mladenova Balkanska) P.S. Not trying to take anything away from Thomas Bergersen. :)
Words can not describe how good this tune, they really can't. What tune is better than this? I don't think there are any. I don't understand how anyone could dislike it. Blows me away every time and its been two years. This will never grow old. Truly magnificent.
Man, I don't know how many times I have listened to this song. Many thoughts come to me with it. It's indescribable but it's given me something kinda Hope and Love as well.
This music is perfect. It tells the entire story of the Earth without any words. 0:00 - The time before the creation of the universe. 0:58 - Creation. 1:31 - The Earth is born. 2:04 - The beginning of Man and animals on Earth. 3:47 - The Earth is now inhabited by all wildlife including the first Man and Woman. 5:02 - The start of imperfection, leading up to Paradise... 5:12 - Paradise is here.
Just listen! And feel! We must let the music touch us, let the lion's roar start us on its journey to the conclusion. How the Earth was Created is revealed in our minds and our imagination as we each 'see and feel' something different, akin to our experiences, our life and current emotions. Everything is right, everything is possible. As we listen to the album's tracks, we have each had the "Sun" implanted in us and it starts glowing; as we hear more, "Sun" grows in it's brilliance. I find it almost impossible to express the magnificence of this piece and feel humbled by it. It is sheer brilliance, just like the Sun. The world is truly at our feet, it is up to us now what to do next.....
Bergersen's music (for me) is definitely in competition with E.S. Posthumus and many other composers like them. I love them both! And can't get enough of either. Their music takes you places you didn't know your mind and heart could take you. Beautiful and amazing! I'm so glad I found Bergersen's music.
I envision a treacherous walk out to an empty field. You are walking alone but as the SONG progresses you look to the sky and see what has made you, you. You see the ancestors that fought for you, the struggles you've gone through, the triumphs that shaped you. Then you look out to the horizon and all the colors dance together to create what you will become.
Gorgeous! It makes me reflect on the things of the world. I keep wondering how a person can compose songs like these. Thank you for existing Master Bergersen. Greetings from Italy.
Why does everyone feel they have to type out words and what not to try and be as epic as the song? You cant! You are mere humans trying to match the mind of a god!
You can be a god in your own world. You can be your own god if you decide to live by the disciplines you know you need to bestow upon yourself to truly ascend to your own greatness.
You think in limits therefore you are limited. Have you truelly listened to great people? It's about believing in yourself and true this believe to make it happen. There is no reason why anyone of us can be great, the only thing that can hold you back ever is your own mind. Therefor you must own your own mind and understand it
This track has everything you could want. Softer passages, middle eastern chanting, epic choirs, both soft and roaring electric parts and mind-blowing percussion mixed together - definitely one of the greatest pieces of the album :)
What i find the most impressive of this song is how accurate it is to how the earth was created. At the beginning when the sounds circle around you could symbolize how the sun pulls the asteroids with its gravitational force. When the roar comes in, it could be referring to the violent impact of the asteroids crashing into each other trying to form one solid piece. When the vocals kick in, the winner has finally been decided, the asteroids have finally created one massive ball which is earth. Then slowly, asteroids containing ores and water continue to clash into earth for a very long time, giving it the ingredient to create life when the time is right. After that, when the vocals and orchestra comes in, life has truly begun. Earth has turned from a dull and inhospitable planet to a beautiful green planet filled with life we know of today. This song is so accurate to how earth was made it makes me think whether or not Thomas Bergersen created the song based on how earth was made.
Listening to this, I always see two different scenes in my mind. One is hundreds of different people flashing past, each with their own struggles and beliefs, and how they will live their life. Each goes by in a fraction of a second, but I get a blast of their emotions. The other one shows simultaneously, and that's a huge uniting of humans..not necessarily an army...but all united against a common cause.
Yuwen Taiji Yeah, i think i enjoy his own stuff better than TSFH, because imo, most of theirs is too high-pumped rock action hybrid stuff while Thomas Bergersen knows how to make music that really inspires and speaks to your soul. I think Sun is my favorite album by him
I think what constantly brings me back to this song is just how very different it is no matter how many times you listen to it. There's always a different instrument to follow, and even though none of the instruments play nice it all comes together so well.
Same as eagles, all of them actually sound like glorified seagulls... so the sound of hawks are used instead. This is true in movies and video games and really anything where the sound of a ''eagle'' is heard.
The creation of earth its the most magnificient evenement in our world, with his beautifull nature, plz....stop killing this, all this....cause its or home
While that is true and i completely agree with your broken English. In 4.5 billion years the earth will be ash as its eaten by the sun expanding. Just something for you to think about.
only if our generation (90-00') will decide to have only one or two kids, this rule being respected by the prolific ones too. wow... i never thought that life on Earth depends on youth's decision within the next 3-8 years... we shall do something. Something big that will turn into a new reinassance age.
