With the Irish tap dancing, western and British fiddles, Arabian drums, sprinkled with a little Spanish and wrapped in modern bass and drum set, you have the most epic musical burrito on the planet. YUM
Asian, North American, Celtic, Eastern European, and more themes I can't even begin to identify, all wound together in a symphony of civilization. Absolutely amazing! This is what music should aspire to be.
Does anyone else get this sudden rush of energy when listening to this sort of music and without even controlling it, like something else takes over and you just find yourself up on your feet, running across the house and dancing, completely subconsciously?
This is what musical masterminds like Mozart had in mind. They wanted to evoke certain emotions and tell a story with them during their orchestral pieces, just like the kind one feels here.
Allan with all due deference to you and the composer of Infinity War (aaarrghhh, I’m blanking in the composer’s name, it was Brian, no wait it was Mr. Alan Silvestri, I think, anyhow never mind), I haven’t heard anyone ever mentioning that about infinity war OST. Thomas is a brilliant composer, always; one of the very few who has the balls (first) and wits (later) to always redefine the meaning of the term “diversity” in music.
No but it's a meme on internet, it's not about the ost. There was an announcement for infinity wars mentionning that it was the most ambitious crossover, then lots of memes came out with that.
Earlier this year I took a very long Lyft ride and blasted this song along the way. The driver could definitely hear the music. After the song ended he signaled to me and asked a lot of questions. I could tell he was impressed by the composition. He told me he was from the Middle East and sometimes had trouble fitting in. We ended up having a really deep conversation about life, love, humanity, and diversity. That ride will always stand out to me. Music really can bring people together.
What I really love about Two Steps From Hell and Thomas Bergersen's music is that it doesn't present just one image in your mind, but a series of varying scenes; but this, it's unlike anything I have ever heard before.
It's like an instant, a moment that's in our minds, clear as looking through a window. But for each of us, what we see is different, and what visions we tie it to differs. TSFH might make only dozens of soundtracks, but they inspire a million voices.
THIS! This is why i love music like this! It's sad that a lot of people don't experience this because they choose to not let that music, the emotions it stirs in oneself, to really enter the soul. They hear the music blindly
At the very beginning, it was him himself, standing in front of the gates, fighting the fears by himself. It was his bravery that drew people to join him. Tens, thousands. As more joined him, they fought and went closer to the eternal flames. And now here we are, one million men, in front of hell, just two steps away!
And never forget, music makes you braver, and that is why, with a million men, they spend their victories not drinking away, but singing many a song into the night, with the most skilled bards throughout the lands finding a place where their talents are accepted, who'd expect that they're calling laid just two steps from hell?

A new solo album? YES. I can't help feeling hyped with this piece. It's intense and epic. I love it. So many different cultural music in this. What can this man not do?
They're using this music for the world cup in Qatar! The moment I heard it I instantly recognized it. I had to come back here and enjoy the full piece once again
@@epiconehourmusic1435 Yup! TSN Canada is using it for their WC show intro (inclusive of the Qatar theme), bumps and outro. An epic score that I had to Shazam because I was obsessed with the music.
The coolest thing about Two Steps From Hell, besides their awesomely epic tracks, is that they make the music available for public purchase and enjoyment.
@@madmadamemimlovesepicmusic519 I was referring to the quote "they make music available for public purchase and enjoyment" and sarcastically mentioning TSFH's industry album which isn't for public xd
Thomas Bergersen You are truly the most inspiring person on earth !! Thank you for everything ! Thank you for making us travel in your world with you !
It's been nine months of listening to this track and continuously being amazed at Thomas' musical skills. But I've now reached the point where I absolutely MUST have the rest of the album. Humanity's release cannot come fast enough.
StarPlaty agreed. I read a response that Thomas put to a comment on his Facebook page a couple of months ago that he was hoping if all went according to plan then it would be released this year. If that’s turned out not to be the case then with a bit of luck we’ll see it early next year - seeing as they’re going on tour in March/April then he might do a release to coincide with that. Fingers crossed that we’ll see it sooner rather than later either way!
I can't describe how much I felt while listening to this masterpiece. It feels like... being on a small boat on the ocean in the middle of the wild storm, but there is no fear...just the overwhelming feeling of immortality, strenght and god like power. This soundtrack is pure perfection.
These vocals are from the song "Lele Yano" by bulgarian pop-folk singer Esil Duran. I'm Bulgarian and I'm not much into her music but your work, Mr. Bergersen, is incredible! The feeling I get from listening it is so motivating! Somewhere at 2:45 I can hear Greek language too and after 4th minute there's a instrumental of Celtic music, I guess? Two Balkan's and one Western Europe's + the main epic/movie music. Awesome work of art!
There's a shift partway through the Celtic section that turns into American fiddle which is awesome because American bluegrass is descended from Scottish highland music. Then just after the 6 minute mark the fiddles give way to Middle Eastern instruments with the oud (a type of guitar-like instrument) and drums. Then the theme shifts closer to far east music near 7 minutes. Afterward they all combine together at once.
At first I was put off by the vocals, having never heard that style before, but by the end of the song I had absolutely fallen in love with them! This music is unique and beautiful and I can't wait for the album
Those vocals were what instantly caught me! :) But I have heard a lot of diffrent world music/ folk music from diffrent cultures already so these vocals weren't anything new for me.
So glad I found you guys, Two Steps From Hell, back in the 5th (or 6th ?) grade in Elementary when I was just 12 yo. Now here I am, 20 yo and still listening. Great song ! Love you both guys, your work has turned into more that just everyday dull job because it involves at least 1 million people !
For me it was youtube recommending me the compilations by SphexAudio. I listened to it for quite some time, but it still took a couple months to actually look for the source and, well, here I am, still hooked.
My cousin brought me into this...always used to see "Archangel" on the screen. when he made me listen to it , at that time , I wasn't anymore a normal 10yo
I remember discovering YSFH back when Heart of Courage was barely over 50k back in early 2012-2013 when they were known by the few, seeing them succeed gives me pride
Proud to be here since 2011 from that To Glory video uploaded by Epic Music World. As time passed I slowly moved to EDM and pop, but Two steps from hell still holds the place as "that legendary playlist" in my phone.
I got to know TSFH in 2016, still happy I did, but inreal life i only met 2 persons that knew it, the one that introduced me to it and a random classmate, so sad its still actually so little known
I found it my listening to epic music vn and looked them up from there back in 2014, then I spread it to my family. No one else I know listens to it though. Whenever I blast it on speakers around others they always ask me "what is that? That's so cool!"
I discovered TSFH accidentaly whilst looking where were music from "Dancing Line" made. Another level of luckines overall. Btw "the piano" was based on "Empire of Angels" if someone wanna know
And here we are, Two Steps From Hell, the channel that has accompanied us for so long finally reaching 1 Million subscribers. A milestone well deserved. Honestly, it has been a long time since I said this, but I think this is the perfect time to do it once again. Mythic Squad, assemble!
I think I speak for all of us here in saying that Two Steps From Hell are one of, if not the greatest composers of our time. Their music has accompanied me for such a long time and in countless situations. It is probably hard to quantify how much joy their music has brought to us collectively, how many they inspired to do things they love, how many they helped through hardship and suffering. Watching that counter tick over alongside my friends in the squad and probably a large number of strangers was probably the best thing I did all month. Honestly, I don't think I can really put into words what I feel. So, with One Million Voices we say thank you for being this awesome. Onward to the next million! They certainly deserve it.
Stunning! Stunning! Stunning! Really love it. My fav part is basically from 6:36 till the end. Sounds like a great gathering where people dance around the fire, eat food, having some drinks and tell stories of great adventures. Happy to say this song left a smile on my face and a jump in my step!!
Yes!!!! A guy with a mushroom profile picture (who happens to be one proud member of those 1 million) is so happy for this insane achievement. Congratulations, may many more millions come!
A guy with a profile picture he can't find a proper short description for agrees wholeheartedly and is very happy that these comments are still around.
A girl with a profile sideview profile picture _lol_ (who happens to be one proud member of those 1 million) enjoys seeing this sort of comment, that already were around when this channel had less than half a million subscribers. :D
A guy with a semi-ironic "i am enlightened" profile picture (who happens to be one proud member of those 1 million) is likewise thrilled to see 1 million subs and can't wait for them to get the 10s of millions of subscribers they deserve. Bring on the musical revolution.
So many pictures flood my mind listening to this masterpiece. From planets unexplored to children dancing this music. This whole thing is Life itself put to music. Excellent job! I will listen as I write my stories
One million voices The Creation of Earth Children of the sun They're so epic and I can almost see infinite landscapes in these pieces... Idk how else to describe it 👏👏👏👏👌👌👌👌👌👌
This piece has so many different worldly cultural styles all mashed into one seamless and epic track. Even though it has such a wide variety of styles, it all still sounds like one cohesive piece. Amazing, as always, TSFH.
I literally cried. Not just because of how beautiful this piece is but, for all the lovely comments here wishing happiness no matter the nationality! 😂😂😂
My first time listening to this I was practically in tears. I never imagined anything could sound so powerful, so joyful, and so emotional all at once. There are no limits to what this man can create, and I'm so thankful to experience his music!
Музикалната композициия е построена върху българската народна песен," Леле Яно". Toва е т.н.
Am I the only one who got throuhgt the song in a blink? Like i got freaking transported all round the world in 9 minutes that felt like a breeeze..... Thank you thomas, Thank you Two steps from hell team..... thank you from a humble listener of your magic. Thanks. Gracias. Never change this powerful magic in the ears of millions.
Every song TSFH have ever uploaded is just like an adventure someone has gone through. This song is just like they all came back, meet each other, and have a party.
Looked over to my second screen, where this was playing, when it appeared on my playlist... and it brought a smile to my face. I remember this was released when you lot hit 1 million subscribers, and I was so glad to be one of those million for a song like this to come out. Really an incredible song, and I still love listening to it to this day.
I don't know what to say... Except that this is the now officially the most beautiful song I have ever heard. I only wish it had more views already, more people need to discover this absolutely fantastic masterpiece. :')
I remember listening to this when it frist came out. It feels like you're taking a trip through the world and traveling through so many cultures. It's amazing how much music can capture.
Took me a minute to realize this is in honor of 1 million subs. What an incredible journey so far, I am so glad to be a part of the a million but also so glad that the channel finally has a million. This is true music in my eyes and someday it will have the praise it deserves, bring on the music revolution, long live Two Steps From Hell!
One million subscribers. I watched the counter reach the million, and I felt like I witnessed history! We did it guys! And thank you, Two Steps From Hell, for never giving up on your dreams! Continue onward, and rise above what you ever dreamed to achieve! This is a big deal for you, and for us all! Because today, you have a million voices cheering for you!
They said they thought it *Impossible* to have a thousand subs, let alone a million. But they *Never Gave up on their Dreams* and here they are. hehe....
literal goosebumps every time i hear this play, even three years later. this song is an absolute masterpiece for the ages. it shows how music really is a universal language, with all the different aspects from different areas of the world joining in to create a cacophony of music that comes together so beautifully. if only human nature allowed us to co-exist as perfectly as this.
@@draconidzinnia 😂 Thanks. I actually didn’t realize that it was TSFH at first, who I’ve enjoyed for many years now. I just thought it was some random dude with amazing skill. I’ve gotten much more invested in TB’s music since discovering this. :)
I remember being deployed in iraq in 2010 when i first started listening to TSFH and TB the music helped me get through alot of the stuff going on then and now i hope you guys keep making masterpieces because thats what you guys do
Saame man xDD I was like oh cool i'll get it when i have the money (i need to save for 20 bucks yeah hahaha) and then THIS. AND OMG WHAT A FEELING THROUGH MAH VEINS
No matter what I am doing... As soon as the notification pops up I just click. Congrats on 1 million subs. You guys deserve much more than that. 1 million is too damn little.
Translation of Lolo Garfield's post: I'm going to write a more developped post in french, because I don't master english yet. I'm in 11th grade (science section) and I discovered you during a music class. After a work while we had to do a part of a movie soundtrack, we found you, me and my friends. Since that day (last year), I listen to your scores everyday ! I must admit I have some favorites, Blackheart, Victory, Pegasus or Evergreen, even Bravestone ! I love what you produce ! Maybe you won't read this message, or understand it, but I felt the need to tell you I love the piece of art you did for your million subscribers. Keep going, and I hope that other French people will come and tell you how much they love what you do. (Message transmis, Lolo Garfield)
That's crazy... That's TSFH's biggest strenght. Anyone can interpret musics, lyrics and titles as they wish. There are so many possible meanings that everyone can find one that matches their thoughts and emotions.
That transition at 3:38 gets me every. Single. Time. I just get so thrilled. I love listening to this song at this time of year now. Reviewing what happened in the world and feeling a sense of unity through this music.
My favorite part is from 0:00 to 9:05 But seriously, this entire song is pure gold, even though I can't understand a single word sang, I still understand the song, ya know what I men? It is impossible to listen to it just once.
The only thing that would be more epic than this song? A music video for this song, going all around the world, to each culture referenced, uniting the world through music.
I've never heard such an ambitious fusion of styles, nor have I felt so many feelings all at once. I'm literally trying not to cry as I type this. AMAZING work.
