This is by far the best version of "Speed Test" I have seen yet on youtube. The pit orchestra was well balanced, the musical theater was nice, and the tap dancing could be cleaned up a bit more, but overall it was very good. Also, Millie and Trevor are very in-character; I presume they listened to the soundtrack a lot. So kudos to you guys. My school's doing this too, and I'm in the pit orchestra. Which rocks, by the way.
My school is doing this production right now I don't have a part in the play (I'm not the acting or singing type) but I am working as stage crew and audio supervisor during rehearsals. When ever they rehearse this piece I am always so impressed at how quickly the actor playing Trevor can sing this song. We are only in the beginning stages of rehearsals at this point but I can't wait to see it come together in March 2014 when we open! Such a great musical! :D
