Can't be worst than the Stanley extreme orbiter fair ride lol that ride kind of wants to suck you out of the harness at least with this ride you have positive g that sticks you to the seat lol
I was stuck at peak height, completely upside down for about 5 seconds, holding on for dear life as the ride starting going in the opposite direction. Was really uncomfortable but fun
At one point, it feels like you're about to fly straight into the metal post until it pulls you away quickly. I think it might depend on where you sit though.. I was on '5' I think.
@@jimmy052k even though it’s extreme and some points it’s a family ride so not as intense as the other theme parks but is a unique theme park. Been there and it’s epic
I've been on this ride. It's the most intense flat ride I've ever been on. It's definitely more intense than the Booster on Brighton Pier (I've been on that too).
It can actually vary. There is no control over when you go upside down or anything like that. That is determined purely by the forces of gravity as the ride rotates. You don't have any control over it, and neither does the ride operator.
im 13 and i wimp out of loads of rollercoasters and rides like this, but i forced myself to go on this one in the end and loved it, you wont feel sick or get dizzy if you close your eyes-thats what i did.
This ride makes you feel like if your seat opens you are dead LMAO, its scary but very thrilling! I kept thinking I was going to fall out when it was facing me forwards
i love this ride, and it’s not too short either, the only problem i had is that i was sat next to a stranger i there was no space so i kept leaning onto them it was a bit awkward but other than that very fun
Just wondering can you use a gro pro chest strap on the old one? I was thinking of doing what you were doing like filming the rides thanks I may be interested in your old one!!
I might go on this while on my next visit to Thorpe Park btw it is the scariest ride alongside Saw the ride next to it coz: no seatbelts just like the smiler xD went on Smiler and Saw once coz on my last visit to Thorpe Saw was closed until 1800 due to technical issues and I had to wait 10 minutes in the queue line (not the normal queue line the disabled one) good thing there is a test seat for this ride, Colossus, Stealth, Swarm, Nemesis Inferno and Saw
This ride is awesome and is way less spinning than zodiac and is way more fun than it too! This ride is my second fave in the park you will love this ride so much if you do not mind spinning flipping and then doing it the other way!
I went to thorpe park yesterday with my friends, and this ride was broken after lining up for 20 mins :( i got a free pass tho and rode colossus with it :)
omg this ride.,,,,:S hahah I've been on this once and it was a long time ago and it is so scary when you're half way up in the air then twist and turn upside down. It was funny cos I was swearing and screaming and I was the only person talking and I felt sick but haaha also so fun!
Do you feel sick after the ride? Would you recommend it? I'm going soon and I really want to go on it but I don't know how scary it is because it's always closed when I go 😕
No. You certainly won't. Being sick on samurai is a thing of when it was at chessington. And the only ride you NEVER EVER eat before going on is detonator. Oh and have a loo trip before detonator. If not you'll have accident.
Some 'ard man got on next to me with his friends, bunch of typical loud lads. By the end of it the guy next to me puked. It was so difficult not to laugh, bless him.
Went on this first time it was scary got to admit all though it looks like a silly fair ground ride went second time it was a laugh all though mom wasnt to keen she cryed. Gonna go next monday
How much does one coast because i am thinking about getting a GOPRO so i can flim the povs on the rides! Also do you have to get permission to take GOPRO on because you do for cameras!
Good luck with that, I enter every day pretty much even though I own almost everything they make! Have a look for an original HD Hero second hand, the Hero2 is not much better and I can't tell the difference in the video quality. I have one I'm thinking of selling for around £120, inbox me if interested.
I never get permission, the signs say no loose articles and once the GoPro is fitted to the chest mount it isn't loose any more ;) GoPro HD Hero2 is £300, chest mount is £40.
xXLuna_emoXx Do you recommend me going on it? last time i went was June 16th and i went on Stealth, swarm and nemisis for the first time so i think i can cope with this :) I should be going during the summer though as we have free tickets
+TheAwayGamer sorry for the late reply but yes I would definitely recommend it I mean it can feel a bit scary when your on it but I would still go on it again even though I was scared and if you like 'freaking yourself out' then I would highly recommend it. Sorry if it's to late reply but yeah you should definitely have a go of it 😉
The only ride at thorpe park i hate so much and am scared of. The one and only time i went on this, I experienced an intense feeling of falling out it was terrifying
Don't worry, the harnesses have multiple locking mechanisms! Thorpe Park has an excellent safety record. They've never had any fatalities on any of their rides.
There was a ride at Camelot that felt way scarier than this... Excalibur I think. Always felt like you weren't strapped in properly and used to make some horrendous clicking noises like the arm was about to fall off!😱 Samurai just makes me laugh, it's a great ride and totally unique. Whilst I love my coasters I'd say this is my personal favourite at TP.
I did not scream, feel dizzy or scared at any point during this ride. In fact, I had a conversation with my friend about what we had for breakfast. My other friend was screaming his head off though xD
I've been on this ride before and its actually not as terrifying as it looks. To be honest I find it quite relaxing and you get many views of the park. (Only problem is the queue time. It will say 10min but be like 25min)
Row one is the worst you always do flips at the top when I went he put us on long mode and it went really slow at top then stopped so you were stuck in sideways position
