@@You-TUBA there is a untapped market for this stuff, desert racing is a battle!!! The wrecks and almost wrecks are a huge part of that battle! This sport needs the world to see how brutal it can be
It is remarkable how seldom the Class A Buggies and Trophy Trucks end up back on all four wheels after flipping. Thanks for the amazing entertainment value of your work.
Gotta go full send to stay on top of the deep ones. Gut check time. Also, sections like this are where you dial in those high speed comp and rebound settings before the race. You’re gonna pay the price a couple times…expensive lessons.
@@freakymustang268 I've done some racing, not at that high of a level. I couldn't afford it. I raced motocross, I raced modified odysseys, and road shotgun in a trophy truck for a year. I raced twice in the la Colosseum. What have you done ?
That suspension is legit. Fascinating that this shit doesn't break.... My MTB fork would've been like "eew, is that a rock? And that a bump? I'm allergic"
Yeah. I've only been to a few tech inspections lately for the UTV classes, they ain't stock anymore. They are essentially Class 10 cars with a belt drive nowadays.
Maybe it just me but if I roll up to a gnarly whoop section with broken and wrecked vehicles off to the side and a camera pointed at me with everybody watching I think i would slow down that's just me though
I think Mr. Cameraman played a little trick and put on a long lens and stayed at the end of the section to not "show his hand". Because when I was a photographer with a normal lens standing right next to the hazard the experienced guys already knew, lol.
If you are wondering. That last one was 4 1/8 flips and 1 1/4 rolls. All the judges gave it a 10, except for the Russian judge. They threatened it with nuclear war.
Those are rzrs huh? Fuckin impressive Edit: the first couple wrecks is what I’m referring too. Being able to hear the original audio surely makes it easier to figure out engine/class
I have a weird theory that maybe some of those whoops had some odd timing. Like just a few of them were spaced out a little further than the rest. Besides just being pretty crazy in general.
My little nephew who rides a bike in desert racing against cars like this.. (He just won the Gascoyne Dash) however in the Finke he said he heard something behind him.. looked to see a car flipping from the rear end up.. he said he hit that jump too, yes it kicked his rear end up.. he got out of it on a bike.. it the car trying to catch him .. made big mistake.
