The body in the shelter was incredibly non-rigormotise. Then he doesn't search the body for any usable stuff? The intruder was looking pretty clean and neat. Otherwise the thing was fairly accurate. Tattered clothes. thin, obviously living on next to nothing rations. Was his meat cannibal jerky?
Thank you! :) Everything is practical except for the snow, gunshots, and blood effects. I was experimenting with practical blood effects, but that made it very difficult to film since you pretty much get only one shot lol
Proper attire! That coat and hat said a lot about his journey and the passage of time. The guy was a survivor, gritty and determined. However, in that moment of confrontation he lost something...perhaps it was the cold? perhaps he had seen enough death. Unfortunately we will never know why he didn't kill on sight.
I absolutely love that interpretation. The most compelling thing for me with this genre is being able to explore what humans would in a situation like that. Thanks man :)
@@AlbinThorburn That's why I enjoy watching post-apoc films, to see what others think it would be like. Now, that I've watched it a few times, I think he's looking for his brother so he didn't shoot the thief until he could see his face. That unfortunately put him in an untenable situation. I'm looking forward to the next one!
I try to make my charactes feel human. Many post-apocalyptic films I've seen here on youtube feature characters that seem way too rugged and stone cold, I wan't my characters to feel flawed and traumatized lol!
Could have been better but amazing none the less. Tips: AK was on safety. RU-vid scuffed the dark scene with the pizel stuff and it made it hard to read the letter, so highlight what you want to be the attention so youtube do3snt screw it up. Yall did amazing! This is all coming from a drama teacher btw. I live this.
Pretty coo I love the setting, 1st of all he should have not laid his weapon up against the branches he should wrap the sling around his arm or around a body part or laid on top of it , 2nd of all when he came up on the guy after he took his weapon he should have just shot him in the back he'd still be alive.
