Sorry I couldn't have given you a better game! I don't think this matchup on this terrain was totally unwinnable, but I would need practice games into it to get to a point where I could win.
Thanks! I have to admit that I've only done KT content so far, but there will be more coming as well xD I'm doing a Warmachine batrep next (umm... if I get hobby done before I go on holiday).
1:30 Sanctus sniper is an interesting choice. I don't think I've ever seen one on the table in person. I certainly never thought of using one when I was playing Wyrmblade myself.
The sniper is definitely heavily influenced by terrain, but if you have a good vantage point in youre deployment zone or least very near your deployment cover, you have a near untouchable sniper that is likely to put some serious hurt on elite and horde operatives and can force the other player to just hide from its LoS
@@TacticalSkew When I built my Wyrmblade team Kelermorph was 100% locked in, but general the Locus was the preferred other fancy lad, and can't say I've ever felt it hasn't pulled its weight xD
The fortify scout option made all snipers with silent almost overpowered. For wyrmblade, the sanctus sniper is easily one of the best snipers in the game except for maybe kroot. Very good at trading material while scoring Executioner. The kellermorph isnt so cut and dry either because while able to deal atleast 13 dmg on average againt 3+ saves, that is assuming he is short range and you let him absorb half of your remaining command points
Awesome battle report! Good to see two rarely played teams go head to head! I think you could have lowered the music just a bit tho. Sometimes it was hard to hear you guys strategize!
I didn't play the best because in my local meta we don't really play horde teams much so I wasn't prepared for some of his shenanigans. I think it would have been possible for me to have a fighting chance had I been more familiar with hordes AND, more importantly the map layout.
You can! Command Reroll is the only ploy that has no limit on number of uses. And you can see what you roll with the first reroll to see if you want to CP a second :)
Doors are done using the Kill Zone chalnath rules which are very basic. If your base is completely between the outline of the door you can move through.
