I saw them in 1971. This show was my 40th show. Going to Atlanta om June 7th. I have to believe this will the last one. Although myself and some of my friends came up an idea for one more tour. Ronnie will be 80 in 2077. So another tour and call it "Ronnie's Birthday Tour" I know that's BS but?
"It's Mick and Keith and Ronnie." And Ronnie was the "new guy" to be the touring substitute during their 1975 "Tour Of The Americas" for guitar player Mick Taylor who had announced to the media of his leaving the band when 1974 ended, when the tour was finished it was made publicly official that Wood was officially with them and they went on to finish up their next album, 1976's "Black And Blue". Only Mick and Keith still remain from their 1962 to 1974 period and if you want to get very intense about their recording history, only their recordings made from 1962 through 1981-82 are really of absolute essential importance, IMHO.
