i always use the eve university site to effectively scout out the mission before starting it ...means you wont die to a suprise at least !

If you do some fw sites, you can get some domination 200mm autos for about 8.5m a piece and 21.1k lp. Just need to provide t1 versions of the same guns. They're not as good as the t2 guns since you don't get the benefit of the specialization skill, but they do take less fitting resources, and you can use t2 ammo, so the damage output isn't that much less.

Wait, you don not get spec skills benefit on non t2 or you just can't use t2 ammo?

Faction weapons can use T2 ammo, but don’t require specialisation skills to use. The specialisation skill only applies its damage bonus to weapons where it is a requirement for use, ie T2 weapons. So basically faction weapons have lower skill ceiling to get into (and may do more raw damage / better range than meta 5/T2) but T2 weapons can get extra 10% if you train specialisation to 5 Same applies to faction v T2 drones, in terms of damage

Really liking this series. Thinking of trying something similar with an amarrian theme as I’ve never had an amarrian character. Just something to bring fun back to the game

Don’t think they’ve updated any of the missions in this game for decades. About time they did, many players like running missions well before trying pvp (which CCP always want to push players into whether they want to or not).

Once you complete your challenge you should start a new stage where you learn how to build cynabals at scale and attempt to profitably dominate all highsec sales of the ship

Possibly a dumb question: can't you turn in those tags for ISK or LP? Also, did you say you were going to cash in the LP for guns?

Yes, the tags can be sold to the Archangels for isk, so they're basically just bounties with extra steps. And it had occurred to me to maybe try to buy faction guns with the LP, but it turns out that the Archangels/Dominations LP stores don't have guns in them, on the Malakim Zealots store and they don't have missions.

Kinda surprised that you joined FW but haven't really used that to get PVP (and thus possibly get some loot etc.).

tbf, I originally joined FW entirely for flavour reasons, since my stated goal included "join the angel cartel." I did spend an early episode looking for fights in FW space though. But, the truth is, it's a lot harder to win a fight against someone else who's looking for a fight than it is to ambush someone who isn't expecting one, especially when you're working, as I am, at a big deficit in terms of SP and equipment. I'm sure I will return to FW space with a chip on my shoulder at some point!

I don't think a thrasher will be super effective at lvl3s will have to warp out alot i guess, I think you'd be better of with the Thorax or maybe a rupture/stabber.

Youll be surprised on the Thrasher. I can run c2 sites in one. Small Energy Nos 7 x 200mm Auto Cannons 1MN AB MSE Pithi C-Type SB 2 x Gyro 2 x Em Rigs 1 x Thermal Rig
