THANK YOU for this video! I haven't sewed since I was a kid and I was totally lost on how to thread my inherited 1230. I am a visual person and yours was the 4th video I watched and the only one that really helped me. Thank you!!!!!
Omg! Thank you for doing this video. I have my mom's Bernina 1230 and I always forget which way the bobbin needs to be going. My mom tells me over the phone but I am a visual learner. You video was perfect. You explained everything so well. Thank you so much!
Thank for this video, I can't wait to watch more! I have my mom's machine which I can sew on but couldn't remember how to thread the bobin part (and broke a needle trying it). She passed away, so your video was the next best help! TY!
If I see correct; you wind thread and bobbin Counter clockwise? My 1230 has a '0' in red for ? Looks like it is for adjusting higher. How do I move it up? Can not seem to find the button.
I would like to comment on the name and function of the hoop. Originally it is called darning hoop, having easy access when darning socks. The shaft goes in the farthest hole on the free arm. Moves horizontally and vertically. For embroidery purposes separate hoops work much better.
