Today we are exploring the Westfjords of Iceland in the northwestern corner of the country. This is a much more isolated pocket of the country compared to the popular southern ring road routes, but it is no less beautiful and a worthwhile detour when planning your Iceland road trip. This should also give you a good idea of the route we traveled.
