ok so for all the "fans" getting pissed about Matt becoming the new lead singer, it's been about 4 years, yet people still complain, firstly Matt was in a band called My Darkest Days (which if you are a fan of Matt, it'll be a chance to hear him outside of TDG) and secondly I listened to there music after Adam left and I didn't even know, basically what I'm saying is that their voices sound nearly identical.
If you listen long enough you notice the small details and how different yet similar they are. Matt says “just” like “gist” and Adam says “just” normally. I picked up on that.
This is why I will always be a fan. They actually cared enough to do the challenge. I'm actually kinda pissed that I never knew of the challenge til it was over in my area. I'd have done this so fast
Seriously, we all love Adam, but, he left the reins with Matt for a reason. HE ROCKS! Gotta see him in concert before you can make a judgement. He can definitely hold his own with "the greats" of metal aka Ronnie James Dio, Geoff Tate, Bruce Dickenson and so on..... Shoulda heard the notes he was holding and there would be no question.
Matt was funny because the other ones took the bucket and kinda just stayed there like “it’s not THAT cold” and then you see Matt who runs away directly after, screaming and you understand how cold the water really is😂😂😂
I miss Adam... But Matt is good too. I can't understand why many people hate him. When Adam decided to leave I thought it is the end of TDG. But it's not. Of course, I'm waiting for new stuff and I hope that new album will be as great as other albums. ;) TDG is still one of my best bands.
Where is Barry and Brad in this video? It would be cool to see them all 4 jump in at the same time! Haha and I love how you put Painkiller in the background AWESOME!
this is the best ice bucket challenge ever, Neil and Matt rock's i hoped that Berry and Brad do the challenge to and Adam, i wonder if Adam and Matt whit Neil, Brad and Berry can make a song, is a cool idea ? :D 3dg and Adam 4ever :)
Love you guys so much. I’d just die to meet you in person (I’ve been to your concerts) (only 1😂) also I didn’t know you knew how to drive a helicopter. Where was brad anyway?
***** I like the band have bought several discs until transit of venus, but I'm not any fan and I'm not aware that's what they do, I just like his music.
Thanks guys for this amazing IBC and for donating to the ALS Association. My mother (of 5 children) died from ALS just over a year ago on 9/1/13. It is a terrible disease that robs the body but leaves the mind fully functional and aware of what's going on, at least in her case. She was a rocker until she passed at 70 which is why metal is just in my DNA I guess. I'm 52 but still like to make my ears bleed. I love I Am Machine which has been on repeat all day! Would love to see you live someday. Keep the music coming (I like Painkiller also and older stuff too, it's all great)! Thanks again for doing the challenge!
aragorn100000 Adam left. 1 reason he said was because of heart problems, another was that the band was not into the music anymore and doing it for the money
Dude, I think they are one of the greater or greatest rock bands out there today. If they suck to you, you probably should start listening to a different genre. Just a friendly tip man. No hate. :)

You keep hearing about that "chump" because his vocals are what made the band unique. Matt's singing style has been hackneyed by who knows how many bands.
That's how it's done \m/ real ice challenge not store bought shit. This is the best on I've seen. Alaska can't bet the cold out there no hot air to warm you up.
They are from rural Ontario it's 6 months of winter 40 below regularly people go ice fishing snow mobiling and trudge around in snowbanks in sneakers every year so that is probably not such a "challenge" to them as some others.
