I was abused as a child, my dad beat me and my mom almost everyday. Thankfully god saved me and the police rescued us. This song is special to me cause I can relate to it. That house was not a home

You can really hear the frustration and resentment in his voice. That’s why he’s my favorite singer; you can really feel his pain when he sings.

Adam Gontier is one of the few singers you can genuinely feel his hurt and pain expressed through his music. Three Days Grace - just like Linkin Park - as such deep emotions resonating through it.

My Son was 15 when this came out!!! I stole most of his CD’s to play in my car! Three Days Grace, Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch,…….. STILL “LOVE “ all of these bands!!!!! My son is now 27 and a “rockstar “ in my eyes! He has a band that is continuing to amaze me!!!! #TheSafestLedge is his band and the adorable guy singing is my Son!

Im going to be 100% honest. In my lifetime, Ive seen over 100 different bands perform live, and Three Days Grace is easily in the top 5 of best live performances Ive ever seen. The key is getting the entire crowd involved into the performance...which they did better than anyone Ive ever seen. And the best part, the encore lasted almost another hour after they were supposed to stop playing. They just kept going because the crowd kept wanting more......and they absolutely delivered.

God, I love the old Three Days Grace.

Song used to represent me, make me angry and depressed, then be a release for emotion. Now that I'm away, it actually brings me happiness.

My mom was an alcoholic and she would scream and hit me. She was never proud of me and always compared me to my cousins. I ran away and it saved my life. This describes my life so well.

It's not just nostalgia, this is actual good and meaningful music

Linkin park, Three days grace, breaking benjamin, adema and dry cell were my first bands I listened to and I owe my musical inspirations and dreams to them. Thank you guys for the music, rock with the history to come and that has past!

Neil killing it on the drums, Barry rocking with the amazing riffs, and Adam delivering emotion thru his voice. It's all beautiful, and what i love about Adam is his lyrics are relatable. This song is special to me because I can relate to it. When I was young I had an abusive dad. Things didn't go well he said he'd kill my sister and he's put my my mom in jail and take me away... I was scared. So was my family. One day we said we had enough. We called the police, they saved us. God saved us. We left the town with no hesitation. He even went to jail. Now we are safe and Happy and we found a new loving dad. Who ever is going through what I went through. You'll make it through this. You are awesome. The time will come. And stay strong! You will make it through this!!♥️♥️

I remember the first time i saw this music video was on the first gen PSP demo disc that came with it. I'm in my mid twenties and listening to it now hits me in the feels because I understand it better. Sometimes you might feel like your own being is not a home and just feels like a broken house of a lost soul.

There was a time when every TDG song sounded to me like my life. Now, I still hear the songs, but my life has changed a lot. Thing in home and with family are going good, I have some friends now, a nice work, I'm not harrased by bad thoughts anymore. If you are doing bad, don't worry, hold on, try your best, and you will be better in the future.

Adam brings out the demons in me and helps me battle them. Excellent artist.

I was like 12 when i heard this song on my PSP for free and i was going crazy!!

"No matter how hard i try,you're never satisfied!" I like this part because it's like that with my mother and i felt that.

My gf told me this year these songs were never about a romance they were about their abusive parents and goodlord the context makes everything hit so much harder i always wondered why or how he could manage such hatred and malice into his voice over a bad relationship. But hands down my favorite thing about this band and why its my favorite is the character growth. You can hear in each album the lyrics healing. Getting more hopeful dare i say happy. Ending with transit of venus’s unbreakable was just art. ART. We have witnessed in song form the internal struggle of an angry young man leaving behind his trauma and ascending past them into an adult. Its beauty. Pure beauty.

My home was a nightmare for both my sister and I. My sister committed suicide 23 years ago and i still miss her very much. I was lucky to make it. I found love that saved my life.

20 years later, this is still my favorite Three Days Grace song. I related to this song so much growing up and it said all the things I couldn't say or didn't know how to say. This song put every feeling I had as a teen. It was my escape when I was too scared to speak up. This entire album got through the toughest time of my life. This song screamed for me when I felt like my throat was being tightened. This song and this entire album will always, always have a special place in my heart. I owe Three Days Grace so much. They kept me going. Happy to be 24 and very much alive and making my house a home ❤

I agree and I can relate as well to this song very much so I've been wanting to leave and go back where I was born and raised cause that's the only home ill ever have. Cause where I live is not how I would agree on living and how the man thanks it's okay to put his hands on you well it's not, so I would be better off alone it's time for me to get my life back my family back and my kids back. It's time for me to go find me again cause I had lost myself and who I was due to all the pain, heart break,and when I was A active drug addict. But it's took me 6 years to open my eyes and realize what's the most important things in my life are and GOD blessed me with 4 beautiful children that I let down and walked out on for A man and at the time my drug addiction and other things. But it's time for me to give it all to GOD and just pray and more than anything keep the FAITH and believing in him and when he sees fit you will slowly start seeing God do his work and blessing.
