I usually farm gold to make them to gems or I buy some nice skins. I’m just really into fashion wars and that’s like my favorite content from gw2 designing as many characters as I can :)
Farming gold to obtain gems to unlock LWS2 and 3 so I can have access to all the content. After that, 3 more character slots to have all 9 classes available, and then figure out what else I'd want. Probably the unbreakable tools and whatever that salvage kit I saw you use is.
You have no idea how much this just helped me. I started playing again after a 4 year hiatus. Finally got a pc again and now I know where to set my goals
Gotta say, I really appreciate these video's you're making. Helping out new players and giving some good tips to more seasoned ones. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but your editing has gone up a notch, and it shows. It makes it all much fun to watch. I've been farming the silverwastes lately for the luminescent armor skins and for gold, but I'm looking for crafting materials for ascended gear as well. Plus, it's a fun map to play on...
Thank you so much Raf! Seriously, I spent more time in the editing last videos, I'm glad to hear that it pays off! :D I agree! Silverwastes is really good :)
Thanks for another great video. I didn't catch it in the video, but you may have mentioned it - the end reward of all the Drizzlewood legion pledge tracks contains 2 mystic clovers. Drizzlewood is my mystic clover farm. I view Drizzlewood as having the PvE version of WvW reward tracks (as well as having the siege aspect of WvW). If you're making legendaries, this means Drizzlewood is an excellent map to farm as it cuts down the need for mystic coin conversion to clovers. So it's not just a money-maker, it's also a money-saver. And thanks for the information that you're an economist, that makes your videos on profiting much more interesting.
Thanks so much for this video! I started playing the game when it was new but then took a long break. Only recently got back and found trying to get through some of these metas without a flying mount to be a struggle. The Silverwastes meta is a lifesaver for making the gold I need to get the griffon!
Member of SW farmers here - most profitable way to earn gold is to open all bags on lvl 54 alt, all except yellow ones, open them at your main, while still on Silverwastes (due to magic find buff after event). Also don't go to the maze for the chest if u have less than 10 keys. AND FINALLY - DON'T FORGET TO DIG WITH SHOVEL :D
If you get a lot of gold, save for the silver fed too! Its nice to use the silver fed for yellows and the copper fed for blues and greens. I use up black lion kits on oranges
@@sammyeggnog i actually snagged up both of those when they went on sale recently! you'd be surprised how much gold you can make in 3 weeks of diligent farming :)
Hey man, just came back to the game after 7 years and your channel was a great help. Cant wait for the download to finish, I hear I might have some cool birthday presents hehe
Make sure to first check at the first waypoint if there is players afk at the dolly. If so, check lfg-tool and see if you can find another map that dont have the afk players but active players which will make your meta much easier and faster. Consider how long the map is you don't want to have afk players on the on you are on.
@@Kyosika Also The Video Edits Can Be Compared To Many Popular RU-vidrs. I Can See How Much Effort You Put Into It Hope You Become Successful In RU-vid Industry Someday ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.
Here's more tips: Farming east bitterfrost starting up then down for winterberries is THE fastest way to get ascended trinkets in gw2. The merchant is on top of the Koda ship and is a Kodan, north side of the ship next to a black n white quaggan. Fractals are a great way to make gold too, and the higher the tiers you do the rewards double as well.
@@Kyosika Yeah, I'm just whining, it's actually pretty funny and I'm really close. Btw, your vids made me switch from Ranger-Soulbeast to Elementalist-Weaver, and HOLY MOLY that's a step up in difficulty I didn't expect :D
try to gather as much eternal ice as possible by playing Strikes/doing Meta on LW 5 Maps etc. you can trade 75 Ice into 10 of any lw 4 Map currency, which will get you the currency much faster than just by farming :) Hope this helps because, when i did my Skyscale this feature was not in the game and i only had 2 lvl.80 Characters xD
@Kyosika - You're forgetting the most profitable part of the new meta: Amalgomated Gemstones. You get 3 gemstones per Post-Meta chest opened (more if you use the "pingers" to open chests between Post-Meta's), and you can combine them into Amalgomated Gemstones for about 50s profit (1g profit if you craft x10 of them). With the Amalgomated Gemstones and the Material Rewards, I've gotten (on average) 25g-50g/hour. I also make sure to try and get my varients here, because if I can craft 14 seed pouches (using 2g to buy ingredients for the ascended salvage food stuff), I can get approximately 14g the next day in harvesting (I have all my gathering buffs stacked on a Gathering character who gets 28-42 Harvests, usually around 32 harvests) per day.
^ An addition to my previous post, a lot of the higher-end gold/hour farming routes make use of material upgrading and mystic forge crafting. Always look to see if it is more profitable to upgrade your items or to sell them flat before going into the black market. Also, make sure you keep an eye on potential black market shifts. i.e.: If the new map gives a LOT of Tier 6 claws, maybe it's a good idea to dump them sooner than later. Or if the new map requires a LOT of Piles of Coarse Sand, buy order a lot of them before they hick in price and sell them for a tidy profit. I may-or-may-not of bought 10 piles of Course Sand for 6c each before the new map came out and turned around to sell them for 1s each later. hehe
Yoooooooooo, thanks for sharing this! We're talking about north meta here right? Because I'm quite sure I don't get it from the south meta. Still, are 3 Amalgomated Gemstones worth the extra hour you have to pour in the north meta? Not sure! The upgrading materials tip, top notch! Thanks for sharing. I do this from time to time but sometimes I'm just too lazy to do so!
@@Kyosika My apologies for the confusion, I meant that you get 3 Gemstone Orbs/Rare Chests per chest that you open during the Post-Meta. To craft the Amalgomated Gemstones, you need 9 Gemstone Orbs/Rare Crests (3 stacks of 3) and a Pile of Glistening Dust for 1, or 75 Gemstine Orbs/Rare Chests (3 stacks of 25) and 5 Ectoplasm for 10-25 of them. You get a lot more Amalgomated Gemstones by using the 10-25 recipy, but you won't get that many Gemstones in a single run of the meta. I usually get around 30 of them per run, but they are a mix-and-match of the 18 available, so I almost never have 3 stacks of 25 available when I'm tossing them into the Mystic Forge
@@Kyosika meant to reply earlier, but it looks like they nerfed the orb drops, only got like 10 last night. Still worth combining materials in the mystic forge.
A very good video, thank you very much :) Personally I have no idea which resources are valuable, but I guess that will come with time. Until now, my "strategy" have been to fill up the material bag, then sell whatever I get after that stack is full and has no more room for that material. Therefore, I bet I have tons of valuables in the mats bag. I guess I need to check that out :) And thank you for taking time to explain how to spend some resources on buying other stuff, not many guides do that.
Been on and off guild wars 2 since around launch and you have always been there with great videos. Keep up the work man and thanks for the great videos!
I'm watching this in the hopes of finally reaching my goal of getting a legendary! Rn its map completion but I know I'll need the 100 gold for the vendor items plus the leveling of my crafters
I'm sorry if I sound awfully ignorant but I still don't get the how to get gold part. Do you just do events to get materials and sell them to regular merchants or at the black lion merchant, or...? I know, I am an enormous noob at this, sorry.
Been playing for 2 months and need so mutch gold to buy the Living Worlds. Main goal right now is the Skyscale. Thanks for the tip of the shipments you buy with volatile magic. didn't knew about it..
For the Silverwastes, to maximize profit you need a level 50 toon to open the champ bags, to get t4 mats. don't open your champ bags on a level 80 toon.
I"m guessing a fresh level 80 won't be able to do these right away. am i correct? I need to know how to farm gold so I can buy the good gear in the market place so I can start to farm shards and daily metas.
Drizzlewood coast is 10g minimum from selling unidentified gear alone. The mats you get is another 10g~20g worth. The meta therefore gives 20g~30g, not 10g~25g. I made 50g from drizzlewood coast in 1.5 hours. At worst, I made 20, usually it's 30 in an hour, definitely 30 average. Majority of gold comes from those commendations, only doing the first part of the meta is stupid, as you will get hundreds more materials if you do part two as well.
CMs + T4 + Recs in fractals and I make around 25-30 golds per day for about 1h30 hour of run. And i don't even got a lot of KP right now (recently 50kp) + I don't got yet titles of fractals wich gives more chests. And even before doing CM I was only running T4 + Recs and doing between 15-25 golds per day for around 1h10 runs. I highly recommand to run fractals and T4 levels as soon as possible for beginners. + the system of fractals are cool with the rotations, you don't get tired as quick as dungeon wich are always the sames.
Thanks for sharing! I do agree! However, the maps and methods I mention require little skill and no good group. But yeah, it's a good methods of making money ^^
Thanks for the video! I am a beginner in gold farms and have done silverwaste multiple times, but each run I only get 2-3 gold on average (even after chest farm). I have no idea why but seems is related to 11:30, so I should open only the coin purses (not other bags) in a lv25 character?
Yeah, try to open these on a lower level character. This gives you the lower tier materials that are worth more. Also, don't forget to stick around after the Vinewrath meta event to loot the hidden bandit chests!
Not sure if iI missed it, but you should mention that Dragonfall and Drizzlewood are LW episodes, so players coming in later on might not be able to access these without paying gems first. This makes SW by far the safest/steadiest farm thats accessible to everyone
I did not mention this but I kept it in mind. Dragonfall is older so many people would have to buy it. Drizzlewood is accessable now! Silverwastes is for everyone :D
Hahahaha, I feel you. I liked the concept of New World. But after playing it at release, which was basically unchanged since the beta a year ago, I decided to leave it for now. I hope they can fix all their issues at one point.
I knew I forgot something! Thanks dude! Check the description orrrr: www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/assc0q/two_full_runs_of_silverwastes_will_net_about_23/ www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/c7wz4i/dragonfall_meta_farm_guide_31ghr_after_the_recent/
Perhaps I was lucky, but looking at profit solely gained from the trophy shipments, I gained about 10G. I bought 12 shipments. This is as of 1/13/2022. With all of the other stuff I sold from meta it would be quite a bit higher profit.
Omg, that's great! Perhaps you were lucky or the prices of the materials have changed since I've made this video. On the other hand, if you are unlucky, you could get less profit out of those shipments :) I hope you keep your luck!
Also Bitterfrost Frontier. Chest loot map. Average 22 chest. 9 char per meta (fast travel char) . So average 198 total chests per meta which is 45m. For me also average 8g - 10g.
Ahhh good one! Are we talking meta or winterberries? I made a video about the Winterberry farm 3 years ago: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Czc8TWgSRsI.html
I play on Vabbi and must say RIBA is dead! I literally see no one actively participating or commanding, it's sad :(. I'm a beginning gw2 player who wants a solid cash flow, is drizzlewood a good alternative for me, as a noobie?
If you end up on a dead instance try the looking for group tool the game gives you and look for squads doing Riba+cf. Silverwaste is always being farmed except for special occasions like festivals.
Here's one ya didn't mention, 4.30g in 7 minutes per day: Search Rich Quartz Vein in Gw2 Wiki and park any players you aren't currently using there. Before festival Quartz was 4 and a half silver per piece, 10 from the node per character, I park 10 characters there and I get easy 4.30 7 minute gold per day. Ik saying this will lower prices but hey I wanna help (also why I posted this a week after the vid released shhhhhh)
@@Kyosika Nope, it's in the Crystal Dessert near where the Zephyrites crashed. It's year round too. Just search it up on the wiki and you'll find it! Before POF the only Rich Quartz Vein was in Dry Top but you had to wait for the Tier 4 sandstorm to hit to enter the place it's located in but you can access the one in Crystal Oasis just fine Also I might add you need skyscale or Springer to reach it
@@Kyosika and pls don't put this in a future video or something don't make me regret saying this 😂😂😂 The prices would lower so much if 20k people learned this (O_o) Like 20 extra people won't effect it too much tho so that's why I commented Love your channel!!!
I’m trying to get 2,600 gold to buy the legendary great sword sunrise for my reaper. I’m not close at all and only have 9 gold because I’m a griffin flyer, not a farmer.
@@teddiejohan But that is like... extremely loot heavy? from every pod you get a drop and if you have keys the loot from central chest is great Though it was hard to get it to higher tears that is true
People claim to not do it because it is not worth the profit. I save up my keys of Greater Nightmares and from time to time I go turn them in. You can basically skip the maze now if you have a skyscale. You can just fly over. Kinda sad but people don't really do that event anymore.
People use the "pact rest time" for chest farm. You can still go underground if there is no current chest farm and use hundreds of nightmare keys there but the chest really gives meh stuff I feel. CF is far more profitable unless you have tons and tons of nightmare keys (and not 50 or anything it's worthless).
Fashion wars. I'm an asura with the old ghost shadow Halloween skin with shadow abyss due in every channel. I'm working towards Oxcidecimus and Twilight. My character is going to be a living shadow.
The prices of good should be equal or over price we paid for this Shipments box. If you plan to sell T6 materials for profit by this method forget it, it doesn't worth at all.
okay so 14 min latter where do i need to spend all my gold to start making gold? also how do i make the gold to spend the gold that i need to start this gold farm, 9d chess later i might figure this out but i guess that future me problem. oh wait i dont have gold now.... nope thats a now problem... RIP
Dragon fall is a pain in the ass if you don’t know where the bosses are where the metas begin and where to know how much time is for the bosses also I am talking like this since I have been commander on Dragonfall for Farr to long lmao
I just started today well not really I have been using my friends acc and now I need to make a new acc but still i help her get to level 80 all that work for nothing but now i have a new acc do you have a guild that i can join ? And I been watching you videos there very helpful thank you
griffon is easy to unlock after end pof story.use lfg and ask people to help you.i get it in 3 days the hard part is 250 g to buy item.i farm sw and auric around 4 day.
Well to join this maps first you have to pay them, i think one map is 200 gems wich is 400 gold, so if you get the gems shose carful, there is many of these maps
Correct. However, if you played at the time when those maps were released, you got them for free! I didn't have to pay for them. So before your reach for your wallet, see if you got any of these maps unlocked!
RIP Istan meta, funnest farm map of all time. shit was up to 40Gs per hour with a good commander. Literally bought every cashshop item I needed with gold when this farm was meta, would farm this for 7 hours straight some days and not get bored lmao.
Amazing map to farm gold on! However, it's on a timer. So the gold farming event only starts/spawns at a specific time. The maps I mentioned are not on a timer, you can start them any time!
It's a great source! I agree. However, it's locked behind an event timer and can only be done at specific times. The maps I chose can be done at any given time. No need to wait. Still, Aurice Basin is an awesome map to farm gold on!
One issue with these kind of vids I see that is very common is that you guys always say the locationg but never show it on the map exactly where it is and to someone who doesnt really care to do world completion is kinda difficult to know where to go ..
I don't even know what I'm going to spend it on. I just started a few days ago. I play mostly PvP queues but after deciding on a class & build I used the 80 boost. I'm totally lost. None of the guides are good for fresh 80s as new players, they all require extended game knowledge and/or a lot of gold to get started. (Maxing out all crafting? That's expensive).
Arena net: suppose we should allow players to get special weapons eventually, yea 1k does sound good round number. player: after 1k chest opened, omg look i feel so lucky to get the gift after hitting the literal damn wall how nice!
What do you say to people that have expac and living world season but not S4 and/or icebrood yet? "Don't do silverwaste because you make less gold"? Retarded comment.
Man, no one is intrested in gold per run. People, who join the unending, repetitive farm are intrested in gold per hour. PLEASE, use GOLD per HOUR as refference of profit
@@Kyosika Thank you so much. Video is perfect, content is top-notch, sorry for getting emotional, but I really pissed off seeing most of ppl use Per Run instead of Per Hour. This is important, or just say like per run 10-15, per hour - X-X
Gold per hour is mostly bullshit and useless in a video that introduces farms to "unknowing noobs" because they won't make that amount like everyone and their grandmother is advertising it as.
@@Kyosika a farm revealed is a farm lost. But I can give a pointer. Look for things that ought to be worthless but are somehow selling for ridiculous amounts, then figure out how to get them.
@@Kyosika haha im just joking, but me as a new player i get soooo confused by everything all the time. I came from wow where everything is usually just face value but in gw2 everything has been getting an item and having to know exactly what to do with that item in order to use it correctly. You get constantly bombarded with new currencies and items that you never know what to do with and now im stuck with 2 gold to my name and no clue of what to do lmao... I just need to follow one thing at a time i guess.
Why Asura? I dont get the appeal. Why is everyone crazy about those little, ugly, annoying, stinking rats...? Becuz Pegi 12? I dont get it, its insane...
this comment makes no sense. you say no gear progression and pay to win in a sentance and trust me bud wow is not better at every category. if you have to raid and get your gear in order to do pvp it's not a good game 😂 endless gear rng grind every new expansion. you have to pay money to play the fdame in the first place. Wow is just a collectors simulator. the real endgame is to farm mounts which have all the same mechanichs. wow is probably the most generic mmorpg. can't compare wow to gw2
This makes more sense haha! I still love WoW for the lore but the rest of the game is quite a clown fiesta. You never have the best in slot item, rerolls on everything and endless grinding.... and that only for $15 a month ;P
I left wow many years ago and havent looked back, im full ascended and played a lot on my own without relying on the raids for progression, this dude is straigh out wrong on every sentence
