when my older sister used to live with us she would buy cheap stuff from the thrift store and flip everything for at very least $2 more profit. now I am doing it and im making great money, highly recomend... kids toys, clothing and cool things sell fast
I have a 29 gallon fish tank and recently one of my snails had baby's, so I put all of the baby snails in a small betta tank at my yard sale for 3$ per snail, and I surprisingly made about 70 dollars of of just snails!
ABP - Always Be Pricing. What do I mean by that? AS THE YEAR progresses and you find things you want to sell - have 4 boxes READY to go marked with the words "Garage Sale". When you come across an object you want to sell and PRICE it...and put it in the box. When the sale hits, your boxes are FILLED and READY to go. Prepping for a garage sale is a year-round event - not something you do the week before. And yes - I also do "fleas" too...so I am ALWAYS ready to go and my boxes are always STOCKED and bursting with stuff I want to get rid of. Another tip - Collectibles don't sell as much at Garage sales...but they do SELL at Flea markets. General yard sale stuff typically only sells at garage sales. I do agree....I am up at 5:00Am and I pre-set 99% of the sale the NIGHT before. I am usually ready to take money by 7:30 or EARLIER. EArly-birds are chomping at the bit to spend their money....and I'm happy to TAKE IT. Here's the most important tip - IF they are looking at something expensive - BE ready to take Paypal. At the fleas, my sales have doubled as of late simply DUE to the fact that I now take Venmo, Paypal, etc.
I have a tip.. I live on a farm far out, I have a older couple on the main St that has agreed to let me use their front yard. I will need at least 2 mths of there yard space as I have a huge 10x 20 storage container to off load. I have heavy furniture and I take pictures and print in color and hang my expensive, large items on a board and say tell a friend. Keep that hustle neighbors ❤
Wow. I just have baby clothes, boys clothing and shoes, womens work pants, and an insane amount of curtains for some reason. I’m hoping to sell most of it because it’s just sitting in my garage.
@@AngelVazquez-vs9xp All of the old computers (8-bit etc) are now worth quite a bit. Even scrap quality. Most have doubled in price in the last year. I think it is a combination of nostalgia, RU-vid info, and just a desire to do something interesting, but now they are all in demand. 3 years ago they were about $75-100, and now they are all over $150 up to $1000's for the rare ones.
I have a pristine vintage Macintosh Apple lap top with the rolly ball mouse on it. It come with all the cords, papers, disks and lap top bag..what would you guess it to be worth? I see online a lot of people selling it for parts and nothing extra with it. Those ones go for about 50-75. Not sure how to price mine.
DO NOT HANG THE CLOTHES, I'm just sayin' Cuz when someone takes them ALL down and offers you .50 cents for the pile, When you say no, They'll drop that stuff on the ground at your feet. Y'all that have thrown a "Garage Sale" know what I'm talking about. Just put a big sheet on a table or the ground and pile the clothes there. No need to organize clothes. If your selling kids clothes for more than a .25 quarter a piece (if your lucky ) I guess I'm just over the years I've done it and find it more aggravating than profitable
MeThe GamingQueen same my mom is gonna buy me stuff at Walmart I’m gonna make ASMR on this RU-vid channel witch I’m not done with I’m gonna make a collection sell that collection buy things to unbox and start all over again
It depends on what part of the US you live in cause on the east coast we say yard sale or Garage Sale, If you say rummage sale people don't have the freaking idea what your talking about. Oh my yard sales I make $300.00 or more.
